The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has allotted the Exam
The candidates can check the exam date and city for Stage 2 CBT by visiting the official of their respective RRB. Then, on the homepage of the website, click on the link which says “CEN 01/2018 – RRB ALP Second Stage CBT Exam City and Date Intimation”. In the next screen, the candidates have to log in by entering their User ID and Password. Click on the “Login” button to submit the details. On submitting the login details, the aspirants will see the Exam city and date allotted to them for AlP Stage 2 CBT.
The link for checking the Stage 2 CBT is active from January 09 till 23, 2019. The candidates should note that the exam date and city allotted to them is final and the Board will not entertain any request for change in these.
The Board has also notified that the admit card for ALP Stage 2 CBT will be available for download at least 04 days before the test. For example – If a candidate is allotted the exam date as January 21, 2019, such candidates can download their Admit card on January 17, 2019. The candidates can download it from the online mode only at their respective RRB by entering their User ID (Registration Number) and Date of Birth (Password).
The Board is also issuing the Travel Pass Authority to the SC/ST category candidates on January 09, 2019. Such candidates must carry the travel pass authority and their caste certificate while traveling.

The CBT 2 of the RRB ALP Exam is comprised of two parts, Part A and Part B. The Part A of the exam contains 100 questions and a time limit of 90 minutes is given to complete the examination. Questions in RRB ALP CBT 2 Part A are asked from Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Basic Science and Engineering and General Awareness on Current Affairs.
To qualify Part A, the candidate need to score 40% to be eligible and relaxation of 10% and 5 % is given to candidates from the SC/ST and OBC category respectively.
The Part B of the examination is technical in nature, a candidate must qualify the Part-B exam to move further in the Selection Process. The exam consists of 75 questions and a time limit of 60 minutes is given to the candidates. The syllabus of this exam depends upon student’s trade choice. A candidate needs to secure 35% to qualify the Part B of RRB ALP CBT 2, there is no relaxation in this case.
