Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has introduced an option for the language in class 12 Computer Science 2019 question paper. On January 03, 2019 CBSE has released an official notice on its official website- cbse.nic.in. As per the notice, CBSE is going to add python language questions too in the upcoming exam paper. Therefore, all the students of class 12 from CBSE board now have an option of language in their Computer Science paper. Students can attempt the questions either of C++ language or Python language.
This is really a big relief for the class 12 students of Computer Science who aspire to attempt the language as per their choice. On March 09, 2018 CBSE has introduced a new syllabus for 2019 examinations. As per the new syllabus, students have only one option of language i.e C++. But this came to know that there are schools who also teaches Python language for the academic session 2017-19.

Thus, by giving the importance to Computer Science subject rather than the language CBSE has come up with this final decision.
There will be a slight change in the pattern of the question paper. CBSE class 12 Computer Science Question Paper will now have two sections. One is of the C++ language and the other is of the Python language. All the students who are going to appear for Class 12 Computer Science 2019 exam paper need to mention the name of the attempted section as a title on the answer sheet.
So, students need to be more careful while attempting the questions. As if you forget to mention your choice of the language on the answer sheet. Then this may result in the loose of marks. At the same time, do attempt the questions of one language only either C++ or Python. Otherwise, this will affect your performance in the score card.
On December 23, 2018, CBSE has released the entire date sheet for class 10 and 12. Class 12 examinations are going to conduct from February 15 to April 03, 2019. As per the schedule CBSE class 12 computer science paper is going to held on March 28, 2019. The examination will be of 3 hrs. The answer sheet will be distributed to the students between 10:00 am to 10:15 am. At 10:15 am students will receive the question paper. 15 minutes will be provided to the students to go through the entire question paper. At 10:30 am examination will start and will continue till 1:30 pm.
The practical exams for the regular students are going to commence from January 16.
