RRB Admit Card 2018 for Group D/ALP; How to Download and Important Documents

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is all set to conduct RRB Group D and RRB ALP Stage 1 CBT 2018. The examination will be held online, throughout India, and candidates will only be allowed to appear for the exam if they will carry the RRB Admit Card 2018. Hence, it is important for the candidates to know how to download RRB Group D Admit Card / RRB ALP Admit Card and what are the important documents that are to be carried with it.

What is RRB Admit Card 2018?

The admit card is a document which contains the details about the candidate and the exam. The details that will be mentioned in the admit card of RRB Group D or RRB ALP 2018 will be exam date, exam session, exam city, center address, name of the candidates, their category, caste, registration number etc. Since, the admit card also contains details about the candidate, it is also treated as a document of identity.

Why is RRB Admit Card Important?

On the exam day, the candidates will be asked to show the Group D / RRB ALP admit card multiple times. If the candidates are not able to produce it, they will not be allowed to enter the exam hall and take the exam. Other than this, the admit card is also needed at various stages of recruitment. Hence, the candidates must keep it safe.

When is the RRB Group D Admit Card and RRB ALP Admit Card ReleaSing?

For now, RRB has only announced the exam dates for RRB ALP 2018. It is beginning from August 09, 2018, and the candidates will be able to download the admit card 4 days before the exam. Hence, the issuance of RRB ALP Admit Card will start from 4 or 5 August 2018.

The exam date for RRB Group D examination has not been announced yet. However, it is expected that RRB will announce it by the end of July because as per latest news reports, the examination will be held in August / September.

How to Download RRB Admit Card 2018 for Group D and ALP?

The process to download the admit card of RRB Group D or RRB ALP 2018 is very easy. The candidates just need to visit the official website of RRB, which is indianrailways.gov.in. There, the candidates will get links for 21 regional RRBs, which are – RRB Ahmedabad, RRB Ajmer, RRB Allahabad, RRB Bangalore, RRB Bhopal, RRB Bhubaneshwar, RRB Bilaspur, RRB Chandigarh, RRB Chennai, RRB Gorakhpur, RRB Guwahati, RRB Jammu, RRB Kolkata, RRB Malda, RRB Mumbai, RRB, RRB Muzaffarpur, RRB Patna, RRB Ranchi, RRB Secunderabad, RRB Siliguri, and RRB Trivendrum.

The candidates will then have to access the website for the respective RRB and their they will get the link to download CEN 01 / 2018 and CEN 02 / 2018 admit card. The link will take to the candidate login and to access it, the registration number and date of birth will be needed. Once, the login opens, the candidates will be able to download their admit card for RRB Recruitment 2018.

Documents to be carried with RRB Admit Card 2018

Along with the documents, the candidates will also have to carry on valid photo id proof and one coloured photograph. A valid photo id card can be Voter Card,Driving License, Aadhaar Card, print out of e-Aadhaar Card, Passport, PAN card, School / College / University Photo ID card Identity Card issued by the employer, etc. The photograph should be of size 35mm x 45mm and should be the same as that uploaded in the application form.

Self Declaration, ThuMb impression, SIgnature, Photograph in RRB Group D and ALP Admit Card

In the RRB admit card, the space for self declaration, left thumb impression, photograph, and signature will be given. The candidates will have to do all of this formality in front of the invigilator. Do not fill any of the section before the exam and when the invigilator is not present.

Details About RRB Stage 1 CBT

The CBT for RRB Group D Recruitment 2018 will be a 90 minutes examination. However, the duration of ALP exam will be 60 minutes. In Group D exam, the candidates will have to solve 100 MCQs and in ALP the total number of questions will be 75.

In CBT for both the recruitment, the questions will be asked from Mathematics,General Science, General Intelligence & Reasoning, and General Awareness on Current Affairs. The syllabus of CBT is as given below:

The cutoff marks for CBT are 40%, for UR candidates and 30% for OBC and SC candidates. The candidates belonging to ST category need to score more than 25%. Those who will qualify ALP CBT will be called for stage 2 CBT. Whereas, the qualifying candidates of Group D will have to appear for Physical Efficiency Test, followed by Document Verification.
