RRB Group D 2018 Photo Modification Started; Exam Date Out on 29 July?

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has started photo modification facility for RRB Group D 2018 aspirants. The board announced the application status on July 11, 2018, and after that it receive a lot of representations from the candidates. Hence, RRB took some time to evaluate all the representations and now it is sending the updated RRB Group D Application Status 2018 on the e-mail id of the aspirants.

It is also expected now that the RRB will announce the Group D exam dates within 5 days. Such is because, recently the Board carried out the same process for ALP Recruitment and within 2 days, the exam dates were announced. The revised status for RRB ALP was announced on July 18 and candidates could make the corrections until July 20, 2018. Then, on July 21, 2018, the exam dates for RRB ALP was announced. Hence, the dates for RRB Group are expected to be out on July 29, 2018.

The biggest reason for the negative application status of the candidates is incorrectly uploaded photograph. The Board is now giving candidates opportunity to modify the photograph and upload the correct one. The window to correct the photograph in the application form is only open until July 28, 2018, and will end exactly at 11:59 pm.

How to do Modification in RRB Group D Photograph?

To make the RRB Group D Photo Modification, candidates can either visit the official website of RRB or use the link given in the e-mail send by the Board. The link will lead to the candidates login, which will look as shown below. The candidates will have to enter registration number and date of birth to access it. Once, the login opens, candidates will be able to modify the image.

How to Upload Photograph Correctly in RRB Group D Application Form?

It is important to upload the photograph in correct format. The photo should be of a coloured one and must be of passport size (size 35 mm x 45 mm). Candidates will have to upload it in JPEG/JPG format, in size 15 to 40 KB. Candidates need to scan it in 100 DPI.

Make sure that your name and date of clicking should be printed on it. The photo must have been clicked on or after July 01, 2017. Selfies are not allowed. In the photo candidates must not be wearing a cap, a hat, sunglasses, etc. Also, the photo should not have red eye, glare, shadow, etc.

RRB Group D Admit Card 2018 will be given to those candidates whose applications are selected by the board. So, upload the correct photograph and make your application from acceptable. Students will get the admit card 5 to 10 days prior to CBT. Candidates can download it from the official website of RRB. Admit Card is a mandatory document that every candidate must carry at the time of the examination. Without admit card, candidates will not be permissible to take the test.
