Indian Railway is conducting some of the biggest recruitment this year. One such recruitment is for RPF Sub Inspector and Constable. It is open for 8619 Constable and 1120 SI posts. The application process for RPF Recruitment 2018 ended on June 30, 2018, and since then, the candidates have been looking for the exam date of RPF 2018.
As per the information brochure, the exam date for RPF 2018 should fall in the month of September or October 2018. However, the month of September has ended and it is October now. It is true October has just started however, the conducting body is yet to release the application status as well. Hence, the possibility of RPF CBT for SI and Constable to be held in the month of October is less. However, nothing can be said for sure right now. Only when the official notification will release, we will know the exact RPF SI and Constable exam dates.
The application status of RPF is also awaited since the end of the application process. The status is important for the candidates as only on the basis of it candidates will know if their application form has been accepted or not. The application status will be released online, on the official website of SI and Constable which are si.rpfonlinereg.org and constable2.rpfonlinereg.org, respectively.
In order to check the RPF application status, candidates will have to login. To do so, candidates will probably have to first select their Group (A, B, C, D, or E) and then enter registration number and date of birth. After the login, candidates will get to know if their application form has been accepted or not.
There can be a lot of reasons for the rejection of the application form. Some of these are – photo not uploaded in the prescribed manner, uploading of incorrect details, fee not paid properly, documents not uploaded, any irregularities observed by CRC, etc.
Once, the application status and RPF exam dates will be announced the candidates will get the admit card. The admit cards will only be issued to those candidate whose application status will be positive. Through the admit card, the candidates will get to know their exam venue and other important information.
