1.5 crore applications have been received by Indian Railways for its two recruitments that were announced this year. Earlier this year, Railway Recruitment 2018 have been announced through notifications numbered CEN 01/2018 and CEN 02/2018.
First one is of RRB ALP and Technician recruitment 2018 in which there are 26502 vacancies.
Second one is RRB Group D recruitment 2018 for which there are 62907 vacancies.
Overall, there are 89604 vacancies.
As can be seen, for every vacant seat, there are 168 people competing for it. So for one candidate to get selected, he / she has to beat 167 people. That is some tough competition for sure.

5 Most important tips for Railway Recruitment 2018
Do not wait; the time will never be ‘just right.’ Start where you stand, and work with whatever tools you may have at your command, and better tools will be found as you go along.
#1 Make a chart for formulae. Right now you have a lot of time. if you make a chart today, and hang it in your room, then you can see it regularly and it will be easier for you to remember them.
Most important topics for you to make notes and formula list are:- (i) age problems (ii) averages (iii) data analysis and interpretation (iv) mixture and alligation (v) percentages (vi) profit and loss (vii) ratio and proportion (viii) simple interest and compound interest (ix) time and work (x) time, speed and distance.

RRB 2018 Form Correction
Candidates can right now edit data in form, if they were earlier ineligible but now as per revised rules they are eligible.
Other than that, details apart from RRB, registration number, mobile number, email ID can be edited. To modify details in form, one has to pay Rs 250 which is the correction fee. By paying this fee, data can be edited.
Apart from correction, those who have applied are also wishing to know about admit card.
RRB 2018 Admit Card
Whereas any specific date has not been given by Indian Railways regarding RRB 2018 admit card, it is quite clear that hall tickets will be available around 10-15 days prior to exam. Railways says in its official notification that admit card will be released ten days before exam.
Candidates must have login credentials ready to download admit card as soon as it is released.
In the online application form of Railway Recruitment 2018, for which the last date is 31 March, there was no option to select exam centre or city. This has confused many candidates as to how they will get a centre. For that, candidates are informed that Railways usually use your opted RRB to decide where to assign exam centre.
