The Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET), 2021 answer key was released on Jan 04, 2022, and the grievance portal was opened on the same day. According to the Punjab State Education Board (PSEB) official website, the submission of grievances ends today. Candidates can submit their grievances related to the answer key on the official website, pstet.pseb.ac.in. Candidates who are from the General category have to pay Rs. 450 per question while submitting their grievance and the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category will have to pay Rs. 300 per question.
Once the grievance portal is closed, the submissions received from the candidates will be verified. Earlier the board had notified how to file grievance against the PSTET answer keys. Following this, the final answer key will be published on Jan 17, 2022. If the grievances are accepted by PSEB, the grievance fee will be refunded to those candidates who had submitted the particular grievance. The result compilation will take place between January 18 and 20, 2022.
The PSTET results are expected to be declared on Jan 24, 2022. Candidates can check their results on the PSEB official website, pstet.pseb.ac.in. by entering their registration number and password. Candidates belonging to the General category have to secure 60% or more marks to qualify in the exam and concessions will be given to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category and differently-abled candidates, during the recruitment process. The qualified candidates will be awarded a Teaching Eligibility Test (TET) certificate by the government, which is valid for a lifetime and they are eligible to apply for the position of teachers for Class I to VIII, at Punjab.
PSTET is a state-level exam conducted by the PSEB in Punjab. The exam is conducted in 2 papers, with a total of 150 questions each. The first language is Punjabi and the second language is English. The questions are of MCQ type, carrying one mark each, with no negative marking. Questions are usually asked from Child Development and Pedagogy, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Environmental Studies, Punjabi, and English.
