Punjab state government began the registration process today, April 26, 2021, from 10:00 am, for the Punjab State Transmission Corporation Limited (PSTCL) 2021 recruitment. On April 24, 2021, authorities issued a public notice regarding the recruitment process on the official website pstcl.org. According to the official notice, the last date to complete online registration is May 17, 2021, up to 5:00 pm. Similarly, the last date to submit the application fee is May 19, 2021, till the closing time of respective banks.
Authorities shall be conducting the registration process for a total of 490 posts including 43 Assistant Engineers/OTs (electrical), 7 Account Officers, 200 Junior Engineers/Sub Stations, etc. Interested candidates can apply for the recruitment process on the official website pstcl.org.
On the official website, they must click on the “Recruitment against CRA-10/2021” link. By doing so, a page shall open displaying all instructions regarding the registration process. Candidates are advised to read all the important instructions carefully before clicking on the “I agree” option.
Aspirants must first register on the portal by entering details like the category of post opted for, category, name, mobile no., email ID, etc. After submitting these credentials, candidates shall receive their Application Sequence no. as well as their password on their email ID and mobile no entering while registering. Using these credentials, candidates must log in to the website to complete the remaining application formalities.
The next step in the application process includes filling the application form. Candidates are also required to upload important documents like name, signature, relevant qualification documents, reservation (if required) and experience certificates. Once done, they must preview their application form before submitting it. All these steps comprise Step-I of the registration process, the deadline to complete which is May 17, 2021, up to 5:00 pm.
Candidates applying for the recruitment process must also pay a certain amount as a registration fee. This registration fee is decided based on the category to which the candidate belongs. All categories except EWS, SC and PwD have to pay Rs.1200 along with Rs.216 as GST amounting to Rs.1416. SC category candidates must pay Rs.480 along with GST of Rs.86 amounting to Rs.566.
Candidates must note that the application fee paid is non-refundable. After paying the application fee, they must click on the “submit” option and take a print-out of the application form for future reference. They may also take a print-out of the acknowledgement slip for their convenience. No candidate is required to send the acknowledgement slip to the PSTCL authorities.
PwD candidates have to pay a total amount of Rs.708 including Rs.600 as application fee and Rs.108 as GST. Lastly, EWS category candidates are required to pay Rs.480 as application fee along with GST of Rs.86 amounting to Rs.566. All the total amounts mentioned above do not include the additional bank charges.
Candidates can make this payment using their Credit Card, Debit Card or Net Banking facility. The fee payment process comprises of Step-II of the registration process and must be completed on or before May 19, 2021, up to the closing time of the respective bank.
