Recently, as per one of the official circulars by the Kerala Department of Higher Secondary Education (circular name: CG&AC-DGE-HSE-CG & AC- KEAM ENTRANCE EXAM- ORIENTATION -REG), the KEAM 2021 exam is hinted to be held in the month of July. However, the announcement of Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical is an entrance examination will be done by the Office of the Commissioner of Entrance Exams (CEE), Kerala at cee.kerala.gov.in.

Also, the application form for the exam will be released online at cee.kerala.gov.in. KEAM 2021 will be held for admission in various UG programs in the disciplines of Engineering, Medical & Allied Sciences, Architecture, Agriculture, and Pharmacy.
Last year, the KEAM exam was initially scheduled to be held in April. However, it was rescheduled and conducted on July 16. With the rising COVID-19 cases in the nation, it is likely that the announcement of KEAM 2021 exam dates will be done after assessing the situation in the country.
Also, last year the exam was held in offline mode in Selected venues in all districts of Kerala and in the states like Mumbai and Delhi. The exam was also held in Dubai.
KEAM 2021 can be taken by candidates who have passed the Class 12th exam from a recognized Board/Institute. Also, the candidates must have achieved the specified minimum marks (45% for B.Tech) in the qualifying exam. Additionally, candidates must have completed the age of 17 years as of the cut-off date.
As per the previous year KEAM exam, the exam consists of 2 papers containing objective type questions only. Altogether, there are 2 papers which must be solved in a total time of 05 hours. Paper I is Physics & Chemistry and the Paper II is Mathematics. Each paper is of 2.5 hours or 150 minutes. There are 120 questions in each paper. 4 marks awarded for each correct answer and -1 marks deducted for each wrong answer.
Direct admission through KEAM is conducted for B.Tech courses only. On the other hand, candidates seeking admission to B.Arch have to qualify NATA 2021 and those seeking admission to MBBS, BDS, B.Pharm, BAMS, BSMS, BHMS, BUMS, B.Sc. (Hons) Agri/Forestry, B.V.Sc. & AH, and B.F.Sc. have to qualify NEET 2021 exam.
