Board of Secondary Education, Odisha (BSEO) is in the process of conducting the OSSTET 2022 examination today, February 09, 2022. The Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test (OSSTET) 2022 is being conducted through the pen-and-paper format, in two shifts. In the first shift, candidates willing to teach Class 1-5 are appearing for Paper-I. In the second shift, those wishing to teach Class 6-8 need to appear for Paper-II. While the former is being conducted from 9:00 am to 11:30 pm, the latter will be organised from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm.
While those appearing for OSSTET 2022 Paper-I are currently appearing for their eligibility test, there are still a few hours left for Paper-II. So, this is a reminder for second shift candidates to download their admit cards as soon as possible.
OSSTET 2022 Admit Card Download
The OSSTET 2022 Paper-II will be conducted for a duration of 1 hour and 30 minutes, from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm. The eligibility test will be held at selected centres across the state, in the offline format. However, to appear for the test, candidates need to download their hall tickets from the official portal. Following are the steps to download the admit card –
Step 1: Visit the official website of OSSTET 2022 i.e., bseodisha.ac.in
Step 2: On the homepage of the website, click on the link attached to the words “ADMIT CARD OF ODISHA SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST OSSTET–2021 (2nd)”.
Step 3: By doing so, a new page will open asking for registered mobile number. Enter the number as mentioned before in the registration form.
Step 4: Click on the ‘Login’ option to access the OSSTET 2022 admit card,
Step 5: Download or print a copy of the admit card before going to the exam centre.
OSSTET 2022 Overview and Statistics
As per official information, the OSSTET 2022 eligibility test is being organised at 338 test centres across the state of Odisha. Although the exam is centre-based, authorities are ensuring strict adherence to COVID-19 protocols. As many as 72,282 candidates are expected to appear for this eligibility test. the exact gender-wise and category-wise statistics will be disclosed post examination.
Candidates who qualify the OSSTET 2022 examination will be awarded an eligibility certificate. This certificate will permit candidates to teach at schools affiliated with the state board. However, to qualify this exam, candidates need to score equal to or more than their category cut-offs.
