Board of Secondary Education, Odisha has released the official notification for Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test (OSSTET) 2021. The online registrations for OSSTET 2021 exam started yesterday on July 01, 2021. Aspirants interested in the teaching field can apply for the OSSTET application form online, bseodisha.ac.in.
The Board has released OSSTET 2021 notification on July 01, 2021, wherein all the details for the TET exam is available. Candidates can check the minimum eligibility criteria for BSE Odisha OSSTET from the notice as well. They must have a bachelors degree in a relevant field and B.Ed to be eligible for Paper I {Education Teachers (Trained Graduate Teachers in Science/ Arts, Hindi/ Classical Teacher (Sanskrit/ Urdu/ Telugu)}. For Paper-II (Physical Education Teacher), candidates should have passed 10+2 with 50% marks plus C.P.Ed./ B.P.Ed./ M.P.Ed. Moreover, a candidate must have work knowledge on how to read and write in Odia.
Eligible candidates can start the OSSTET 2021 registration online via bseodisha.ac.in. They will get the direct link for the “online application form for the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OSSTET) 2021” under the latest section. Aspirants are, thereafter, directed to the login page where they can start the online registration by clicking on the ‘new registration’ link. Now, enter the name, password, mobile number, email address, caste and category. On successful registration, candidates can log in using the registered mobile number and password.
The next step is to pay the requisite application fee amounting to Rs. 500/- for General and SEBC and Rs.300/- for ST & SC category candidates. Hereafter, proceed to submit the OSSTET 2021 application form. Candidates shall get several chances to edit their application form before final submission. They must utilize this and avoid providing incorrect information in the form. After the final submission, an acknowledgement slip is generated. Take a printout of the same for reference.
Moreover, BSE Odisha has published OSSTET 2021 syllabus along with the official notification. Aspirants can access the OSSTET Syllabus PDF from bseodisha.ac.in. In the syllabus PDF itself, the Board has also discussed the OSSTET exam pattern for paper 1 and Paper 2 in detail. The duration of each paper shall be 2 hours and 30 minutes. Each paper will be conducted for 150 marks. Every question will carry 01 marks for the correct answer and there will be no negative marking. There will be 04 sections in Paper I and Paper II respectively.
