Office of Deputy Commissioner, Lakhimpur, Assam is inviting online applications for the eligible candidates for the vacant posts of LDA, Bench Assistant, Typist and Peon. Total 06 vacancies are announced by the conducting body. Eligible and intending candidates can submit their online applications for the recruitment before January 24, 2021. As per the notification, the recruitment is available only for the permanent residents of Assam state. The vacant posts of Typist (02), Bench Assistant (01), Lower Division Assistant (02) and Peon (01) are available in the establishment of Foreigner Tribunal-1st and Foreign Tribunal -2nd. The selected candidates will get the monthly salary under the pay scale of Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 60,500/- for LDA, Bench Assistant and Typist and Rs. 12,000/- to Rs. 37,500/- for the post of Peon.

The selection will be done based on the two stage selection procedure. The first stage of the written exam is conducted for 250 marks. Shortlisted candidates have to appear for the written exam which is scheduled for February 14,2021. The next stage is the Computer Proficiency Test that carries 50 marks. In this round, candidates have to produce the original testimonials before appearing for the computer proficiency test for the verification. Based on the performance in the written exam and computer proficiency test (only written test for Peon post), the final list is prepared.
Interested candidates can apply only if they meet the eligibility. So, candidates who possess a graduation degree in any stream from a recognized university or institute can apply for LDA, Bench Assistant and Typist posts. Also, they should have a minimum 06 months diploma certificate in computer proficiency from recognized institutes. In order to apply for Peon post, candidates should have mandatorily passed 08th class or equivalent.
Applicant’s age should not be less than 18 years while applying for the recruitment. Along with this, their age should not be more than 40 years as on January 01, 2021. Furthermore, the upper age is relaxable for the reserved category as per the notification. The upper age limit for SC/ ST candidates is 45 years and for OBC/ MOBC is up to 43 years.
The applications are invited only through the online mode, niyukti.assam.gov.in. Candidates have to upload the documents such as the educational qualification certificates, computer diploma/ certificates, age proof certificate, caste certificate, valid employment exchange card, good quality of photographs. Moreover, the online applications for this recruitment should be submitted before the last date as specified.
