After postponing the CTET exam in 2020, the Central Board of Secondary Education is all set to conduct the exam in January 2021. As per the latest updates on the official website, CTET 2021 is scheduled to be held on January 31, 2021 in 135 cities of India. Candidates who have registered for the exam can expect the admit card to be out soon at the website ctet. nic.in. Qualifiers of CTET 2021 exam are awarded an eligibility certificate for recruitment as a teacher.
CTET Admit Card 2020
CTET 2021 admit card is expected to release soon before the exam. The admit card releases through candidate login at the official website ctet.nic.in. Registered candidates have to download the admit card from the website and carry the print out to the designated exam centre.
Candidates may note that the date, time and venue of the designated exam centre are indicated on the CTET admit card for individual applicants. Candidates have to log in with the Registration/Application Number and Password. All candidates are required to report to the designated centre 90 minutes before the exam start time.
After downloading the admit card, candidates are advised to check the information carefully. In case of any discrepancy, candidates may contact the CTET Unit for necessary corrections. CTET admit card also contains certain instructions for the exam which must be carefully read and complied with.
CTET 2020 Exam Pattern
As stated before, the CTET exam is conducted as an OMR based test for two papers. Candidates can appear for any one or both papers as selected during the time of online application. The question paper is set bilingually in the English & Hindi languages.
The question paper of CTET consists of 150 objective type questions. Candidates have to select the correct alternative from MCQ type questions and mark the same on the OMR sheet. There is no negative marking for wrong answers while correct answers fetch 1 mark. Candidates are allowed 2.5 hours for each paper.
CTET 2020 For Teachers Eligibility
CBSE conducts the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) exam once a year. The examination determines the eligibility of suitably qualified candidates for recruitment as a teacher of Class I to VIII. There are two papers in the exam. Those who aspire to become a teacher of Class I to V have to take the test for Paper 1. On the other hand, those who aspire to become a teacher of Class VI to VIII have to take the test for Paper 2.
