NEET 2019 Best Performing State Is Delhi With 74.92% Qualifying Candidates

National Testing Agency today declared the NEET Result 2019 at ntaneet.ac.in. In one hand Rajasthan boy Nalin Khandelwal breaks the record of NEET by becoming the first ever candidate to score 700+ marks in NEET, on the other hand, Delhi emerges as the best-performing state this year. The percentage of candidates qualifying from Delhi is 74.92%.

As per the NEET Result 2019, Nagaland witnessed the least qualifying percentage of 34.52%. After Delhi, the best-performing state in NEET 2019 is Haryana with 73.41% candidates qualifying the exam. Then stands Chandigarh with a total of 73.24% of candidates qualifying from here.

The total number of candidates who had registered for NEET 2019 were 15,19,375 and the candidates who have qualified the exam are 7,97,042 in number. The Top 3 candidates of NEET 2019 are Nalin Khandelwal (AIR 1) is from Rajasthan, Bhavik Bansal (AIR 2) is from Delhi and Akshat Kaushik (AIR 3) is from Uttar Pradesh. There total NEET 2019 scores are 701, 700 and 700 respectively.

The other top-performing states of NEET 2019 are Andhra Pradesh with a pass percentage of 70.72%, Rajasthan with 74.30% candidates qualifying from here, Punjab with 68.61%, Telangana with 67.44%, and Kerala with 66.59%.

Cutoff rises

There has been a rise in the NEET 2019 cutoff marks too. Last year the cutoff marks for Open category was 691 – 119, 118– 107 for the UR-PH category, 118 – 96 for the SC/ST/OBC category. For the SC-PH/ST-PH/OBC-PH it was 106 – 96. In 2019 it rose to 701-134 for others / UR category, 133-107 marks for the OBC/SC/ST candidates. For the UR-PH candidates, the qualifying marks is 133-120. For the OBC SC / ST category it is 119-107.

Females outshine males

More females qualify in NEET 2019. 4,45,761 females have passed the exam and 3,51,278 males have cracked the exam.

Out of the registered candidates, the number of OBC candidates is maximum

This year the number of OBC candidates who have registered for the exam is 6,77,544, which is the highest registration among all the categories. The number of candidates who have passed the exam also has a maximum percentage of OBC candidates that is 3,75,635. The number of candidates who qualified in the SC category is 99,890, in the ST category 35,272 has passed and in the UR category the qualifying candidate number is 2,86,245.

Madhuri Reddy G, tops among the females with AIR 7

There are 7 female candidates in the top 50 rank holder of NEET 2019. Out of them, Madhuri Reddy G is the topper with AIR 7 and score 695/720.

National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (UG) 2019 was held throughout the country on May 05, 2019 and on May 20, 2019 for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in India in Medical/Dental Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
