The Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board has released the dates for the Physical Test for the post of Constable (Radio) and Constable (GD). The notification has been released on the official site at peb.mp.gov.in. As per the board’s most recent notification, the test will commence on May 9 and will be conducted up until June 5, 2022. Physical tests will be conducted every day during the mentioned dates except on May 16, 22, and 25. Document verification of the 5000 shortlisted candidates will also be conducted on these dates.

The physical exam is the second phase of the Madhya Pradesh Police Constable recruitment 2021-2022 process. The written exam which was the first phase of recruitment was conducted in January 2022. The exam was initially scheduled to happen in April 2021. However, owing to the pandemic the exam was postponed. The result of the written examination was published on the official website on March 24. 2022. The candidates who have cleared the first phase are eligible to appear for the physical exam.

Test of 200 candidates per day, document verification
The test will take place across six exam centers as suggested by the governing body. It may be noted that 5000 candidates will appear for physical tests in each center. Two hundred candidates will be evaluated every day starting from May 9, 2022, wherein their physical abilities will be scrutinized.
Furthermore, the candidates are advised to keep all the relevant documents ready. The candidates will only be allowed to proceed for the test after the document verification process. The board will be conducting the physical tests with care in order to avoid heat exhaustion among the candidates. Thus, it has restricted the number of candidates to 200 a day and made provision to commence the test earlier in the day.
The recruitment was being conducted against 4000 vacancies in the post of MP Police Constable (GD and Radio). However, as per a revised notification, the requirement of 2000 additional vacancies was added. Presently there are 5862 vacancies for MP Police Constable (GD) and 138 for MP Police Constable (Radio). Out of the 6000 vacancies 1620 are applicable for general category, 1620 for OBC, 959 for SC, 1200 for ST and 601 for EWS.
