Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) is all set to commence the UP board practical exam 2022 today, April 20, 2022, for both Class 10 and 12 students. The practical exam for both classes will be held in two phases – phase 1 from April 20 to 27, 2022, and phase 2 from April 28 to May 04, 2022. In addition to phase-wise distribution, practical board exams are also bifurcated on the basis of location or zones. So that a systematic format is being followed for conducting these internal assessments.
Earlier, UPMSP successfully conducted the state board exams for Class 10 and 12 students from March 24 to April 12, 2022. Offline exams were held in a shift-wise manner from 8:00 am to 11:15 am and 2:00 pm to 5:15 pm.
As per official information, the assessment for UP board practical exam 2022 has been bifurcated into two parts – 50% evaluation will be done by an internal source and the remaining 50% by an external evaluator. The practical exam score will then, be taken into consideration along with board exam marks for curating the final percentage.
UP Board Practical Exam 2022 – Schedule & Zones
As mentioned before, UPMSP will be organising the Class 10 and 12 practical board exams 2022 in two phases. Phase 1 is scheduled from April 20 to 27, at Agra, Saharanpur, Bareilly, Lucknow, Jhansi, Faizabad, Chitrakoot, Devipatan, Mirzapur, and Basti. Subsequently, Phase 2 will be held from April 28 to May 04, at Meerut, Muradabad, Azamgarh, Kanpur, Aligarh, Prayagraj, Varanasi, and Gorakhpur.
UP Board Practical Exam 2022 – Important Guidelines
While appearing for the UP board practical exam 2022, candidates need to follow the instructions mentioned below –
- It is expected for all candidates to reach the allotted exam centre at least 30 minutes prior to the actual time of exam commencement.
- It is important for aspirants to follow all COVID-19 guidelines such as wearing a mask, carrying a hand sanitiser, and maintaining social distancing at all times.
- The board has prohibited all candidates from carry electronic gadgets including electronic gadgets, watches, calculators, study material, goggles, etc to the exam centre.
- It is important for each candidate to follow a proper dress code and not wear any jewellery, shoes or footwear with thick soles, etc.
As per news reports, a total of 2781654 candidates had appeared for Class 10 board exams 2022. Out of which, 1228456 were girls and 1553198 boys. In the case of Class 12, 2411035 students had appeared for the recently-concluded state board exams. Out of which, 1086835 were girls and 1324200 were boys. This figure is expected to follow suit for the Class 10 and 12 practical board exams.
