In the light of the unforeseen torrential rains in Maharashtra, the Minister of Higher Education and Technical Education in the state Uday Samant has stated that all students who could not appear for the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test or CET 2021, will be given an opportunity to retake the examination. While taking to Twitter, he stated that along with Maharashtra CET, examinations for other courses can be retaken by the students. Hence, he stated that no student will be deprived of the exam and the concerned students should not worry.
The re-examination will now be conducted on October 09 and 10, 2021 for those students who could not appear for the examination due to heavy rainfall. Uday Samant announced the new dates a while ago through his Twitter handle. He stated that he had interacted with the journalists today and at this time, the re-examination will take place as per the mentioned dates. However, the new dates for holding the entrance examinations are only for those who could not appear for the tests due to heavy rainfall in the state.
This leaves the students with at least 10 days for the re-examinations of Maharashtra CET 2021. Those students who were unable to appear for the tests can utilize this time and prepare better for the examinations. However, the ones who are already well-prepared for the examination can make the best out of this time for revision.
The Maharashtra CET 2021 exams have started taking place from September 15, 2021. The series of entrance examinations are being conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra. However, with the heavy rains that have been affecting various parts of the state, students are facing problems while some are unable to appear for the examinations.
