The sixth day of the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test or MHT CET 2021 has been completed. The State Common Entrance Test Cell will continue with the MHT CET 2021 series of entrance examinations till October 01, 2021. This examination is being conducted for admitting students to courses like Bachelor in Engineering/Technology (B.E/B.Tech), Bachelor in Pharmacy B. Pharm./Pharm.D. and Agriculture and allied courses. Now, with the completion of the Day 6 of MHT CET 2021, let’s take a look at the analysis, question paper difficulty and the answer keys.
According to the candidates, the PCB section was comparatively easier. Most of the questions from Biology was from the first and second chapters. Other than that, most of the topics from Physics and Chemistry were easy and repeated. The overall difficulty level of the question paper in the first shift was easy. Although PCM students had to attempt a good number of numericals, PCB ones did not have to do so.
Most of the questions from Biology were from topics like Anatomy of the Heart from Respiration and Circulation, DNA, Oxygenated and Deoxygenated blood, Excretion and Osmoregulation, Nephron and Kidneys, Reproductive Health. From Chemistry, Similarly, from Chemistry, the questions were mostly from IPSC, Mole Concept and Redox Reactions. Likewise, from Physics, the questions were covered from topics like Semi-conductors, Electromagnetic Field, Circuit Diagram, Spectrum of Light, etc.
Although the official answer keys for today’s MHT CET 2021 exam are not available yet, the unofficial ones can be found on You Tube. Right after the completion of the shifts, subject experts and coaching institutes have taken to their You Tube channels and uploaded subject-wise elaborate discussions of the memory-based questions. As a result, Based on these discussions and unofficial answer keys, candidates can get an idea of a tentative MHT CET 2021 score.
To calculate the tentative score, it is essential to have an idea of the marking scheme. MHT CET 2021 is a computer-based objective-type test in which every question has four options. For subjects like Physics and Chemistry, 01 mark allotted for each correct answer while Mathematics has 02 marks for each correct answer. However, for the PCB group, all three subjects have 01 mark for each question. Since there is no negative marking for PCM or PCB in MHT CET 2021, candidates have the liberty to attempt as many questions they want without having to lose marks.
