MHT CET 2021

The State Common Entrance Test Cell has successfully conducted the Day 2 of the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test or MHT CET 2021 today. The series of entrance tests have already started yesterday, i.e. September 20, 2021 and will continue till October 01, 2021. These entrance examinations are conducted for courses such as Bachelor in Engineering/Technology (B.E/B.Tech), Bachelor in Pharmacy B. Pharm./Pharm.D. and Agriculture and allied courses. However, with the completion of the second day of the test, let’s take a look at the analysis, question paper difficulty and where candidates can find the answer keys of MHT CET 2021.

According to the students, all three the papers – Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, had a moderate level of difficulty. However, compared to the other two subjects, Chemistry was easy. Physics, on the other hand, was difficult for some students. Nevertheless, Mathematics turned out to be a lengthy paper. Compared to Day 1 of MHT CET 2021, Day 2 was difficult.

It was seen that the maximum questions in the Mathematics paper were from the Calculus portion. This was the case even yesterday. Other than that, most of the questions were from Vector 3D, Metrics, Logic, etc. In the Chemistry portions, questions were mainly covered from Polymers, Chemistry in Everyday Life. Similarly, numericals were asked from Solutions, Solids, etc. Lastly, in the Physics portion, a majority of the questions were asked from Optics, Rotation and Thermodynamics. In addition to these topics, questions from Modern Physics were also there.

Students who appeared for the second shift of today’s examination were of the opinion that the difficulty level of the question paper was easy. Most of the questions in the Chemistry paper were of the NCERT standard. Again, the Physics paper covered questions from Thermodynamics, Gravitation, etc. As per students, the questions in the Mathematics paper were both tricky as well as time-consuming.

Please note that the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has not released the official answer keys yet. Nonetheless, subject experts and coaching institutes have posted elaborate discussions on the Day 2 of MHT CET 2021 on You Tube. Based on these discussions and unofficial answer keys, candidates can get an idea of the tentative score. MHT CET 2021 is a computer-based objective-type test in which every question has four options. Physics and Chemistry subjects have will have 01 mark for each question while Mathematics has 02 marks allotted for each question. However, for the PCB group, all three subjects have 01 mark for each question. Please note that there is no negative marking for PCM or PCB.
