The Day 4 of the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test or MHT CET 2021 has been completed by the State Common Entrance Test Cell today. The test series has already started from September 20, 2021 and will continue till October 01, 2021. MHT CET 2021 is conducted for admitting students to courses like Bachelor in Engineering/Technology (B.E/B.Tech), Bachelor in Pharmacy B. Pharm./Pharm.D. and Agriculture and allied courses. Since the fourth day of MHT CET 2021 has been completed, let’s take a look at the analysis, question paper difficulty and answer keys of today’s test.
Students’ review that the difficulty level of the first shift of today’s MHT CET 2021 exam was above moderate. Most of the questions were concept and application-based. Compared to the previous exams that were held so far, this shift saw less number of formula-based questions. However, experts predict 140 to be the safe score in this shift.
Just like the previous exams, the maximum questions in the Mathematics paper were from the Calculus portion. Other than that, most of the questions were from Vector 3D, Metrics, Logic, etc. In the first shift, there was quite a good number of questions from Probability and Binomial Distribution. In Chemistry, the number of numerical sums was more from Solutions, Solids, etc. From the Organic Chemistry portion, maximum questions from name reactions have been asked. Similarly, from Physics, a majority of the questions were asked from Optics, Rotation and Thermodynamics. In addition to these topics, questions from Modern Physics were also asked.
An analysis of both shift 1 and 2 of today’s MHT CET 2021 exam show that maximum number of questions from Physics and Chemistry were application based. However, Mathematics turned out to be a lengthy paper. Experts predict that as more and more shifts of MHT CET 2021 are held, the difficulty level of the questions are likely to increase.
The official answer keys for today’s MHT CET 2021 exam are not available yet. But, soon after the completion of the shifts, subject experts and coaching institutes have uploaded subject-wise elaborate discussions of the memory-based questions. Based on these discussions and unofficial answer keys, candidates can predict a tentative score.
MHT CET 2021 is a computer-based objective-type test. Every question has four options. Physics and Chemistry subjects have 01 mark allotted for each question while Mathematics has 02 marks. However, for the PCB group, all three subjects have 01 mark for each question. Please note that there is no negative marking for PCM or PCB.
