The Day 1 of the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test or MHT CET 2021 has been successfully completed today. Examinations for Bachelor In Engineering/Technology (B.E/B.Tech), bachelor in Pharmacy B. Pharm./Pharm.D. and Agriculture and Allied Courses have commenced today and will continue till October 01, 2021. Now, with the completion of Day 1 of MHT CET 2021, let’s take a look at the analysis of the examination.
Students have given mixed reactions regarding the difficultly level of the question paper. For some, Physics and Mathematics turned out to be easy while Chemistry was tough. On an average, the overall difficulty of all three papers was moderate. This time, the Mathematics was not too lengthy. But, what made Chemistry difficult for some students is that there were too many numerical sums. However, compared to last year, Mathematics was easy. On the other hand, many students claimed that second shift of MHT CET 2021 was difficult as compared to the first one.
Questions in the Mathematics paper mainly covered topics like Integration, Differentiation, Differential equations, etc. But, the paper contained maximum questions from Integration. In Physics, Rotation and Optics were among the important topics. Similarly, the numericals in Chemistry covered the topics Solids, Solutions, etc.
Although the State Common Entrance Test Cell has not released the official answer keys, various coaching institutes and subject experts have now taken to You Tube and provided elaborate discussions on the subjects based on memory-based questions. These paper analysis along with the unofficial answer keys can help students to calculate a tentative score. Channels like RG Lectures (Physics), Physics Gyaan Mukesh Nayak, DINESH SIR Live Study, etc. have posted elaborate videos on MHT CET 2021 day 1 exam.
MHT CET 2021 is a computer-based objective-type test. Every question has four options out of which only one option is correct. Physics and Chemistry subjects have will have 01 mark for each question while Mathematics has 02 marks allotted for each question. However, for the PCB group, all three subjects have 01 mark for each question. Please note that there is no negative marking for PCM or PCB. Using this marking scheme, students can calculate their expected scores by going through the unofficial answer keys. In case a candidate appears for both PCM and PCB, then the Physics and Chemistry percentile scores will not be interchanged.
These answer keys for MHT CET 2021 are unofficial and provisional in nature. Candidates should only use these answer keys for reference purposes. As and when the State CET Cell releases the official answer keys, candidates can then refer to them and calculate the scores.
