DRDO CVRDE Recruitment 2021

After the official announcement by the Education Minister that the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) would be conducted in various regional languages, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the official notification for the national level exam. NTA has commenced the online application process for JEE (Main) at the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. The examination is scheduled to be conducted in four sessions this year in February, March, April and May 2021. Eligible candidates can apply online at the aforementioned website for multiple sessions by paying the requisite fees.

NTA will conduct the JEE (Main) exam in four sessions this year. This means that the exam will be conducted four times this year. The first session is to be conducted from the first week of February 2021 in two shifts. Eligible candidates can apply online at the official website to appear in one or more sessions by paying the specified application fee online.

The online registration procedure is to conducted from today i.e. December 15, 2020. NTA will also allow candidates to make changes to the application form for the first session from January 18 to 21, 2020. The examination is scheduled to be held from February 22 to 25, 2021 for the first session. Online application form for subsequent sessions is to be uploaded on the official website in due course of time after the release of the results for each session. The first shift is to be conducted from 09.00 AM to 12.00 PM while the second session is to be conducted from 03.00 PM to 06.00 PM on each exam day.

Reportedly, the JEE (Main) exam is to be conducted in 13 different regional languages following official announcement by the Education Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on popular social media network Twitter. However, candidates have to select their choice of language option at the time of registration at the official website.

The decision to conduct the JEE Main exam in four stages has been taken to ensure that aspiring candidates do not face any problems appearing in the exam. It may be noted that 2021 Board exams are scheduled to be held in similar time frames across the country.

As per the new exam pattern decided by the NTA for JEE (Main) exam, there are two sections in each paper of the exam. Candidates may appear in the exam in multiple sessions this year and submit the best score for admissions. As a result of various socio-economic constraints due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the entire academic community has been challenged this year. Therefore, the NTA has decided to allow candidates to give the exam in multiple session so that they do not face the risk of year loss.

NTA has published the information brochure at the official website containing all the details of the JEE Mains exam. It is advised that aspiring candidates refer to the official website and the information brochure applying. Successful candidates can utilise their JEE Main score to get admission to B.E./B.Tech., B.Arch and B.Plan courses in top institute of the country.
