The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) issued an announcement stating that the registration for the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) 2021 shall commence from December 16, 2020. The same was announced on the official website of the conducting body i.e. icsi.edu on December 12, 2020. The notice also specified that the last day to register for the entrance exam is April 15, 2020. CSETT 2021 examination is scheduled on May 8, 2021. By qualifying this entrance test, candidates can get direct admission into the CS Executive Programme.
Authorities, on Saturday, announced the official date for the commencement of CSEET 2021 registration process. Subsequently, the computer-based exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 8, 2021. The notice also specified that the aspirants who registered for CSEET till December 15, 2020, are eligible to appear for the exam scheduled on January 9, 2021. These students are not required to undergo the registration process for the exam scheduled in May 2021.
Candidates willing to register for CSEET 2021 require multiple documents while filling the online application form. These documents include photograph and signature of candidate, birth certificate or Class 10 passing certificate, Class 12 mark sheet, Class 12 admit card (in case appearing for the exam), category certificate (for availing fee concession) and any identity proof. This proof may include Aadhar card, passport, voter ID, PAN card, driving license or ration card.
CSEET 2021 registration process comprises of five basic steps. The first step involves the filing of candidate details like name, qualification, Aadhar Card number, gender, category, date of birth, email address, residential address, city, state, etc. In the next step, the candidate shall be notified of the exam fees which they have to pay depending on their category. The third steps include uploading the scanned copies of the required documents. Candidates must ensure that they upload documents in compliance with the dimensions mentioned by the authorities.
Authorities shall provide a preview of the application form with the filled-in candidate details. Aspirants are advised to go through the preview and ensure that all the information in the form is authentic and correct. The last step includes paying the examination fees to submit the application form.
CSEET 2021 is a national-level entrance exam which shall be conducted through the computer-based format. It shall comprise of 120 questions for a total of 170 marks. The online exam will be of 120 minutes duration while the viva voce on ‘presentation and communication skills’ will be of 15 minutes duration. CSEET 2021 is scheduled in May 2020 and registrations for the same are scheduled to begin tomorrow i.e. December 16, 2020.
