Indian Oil Corporation Limited is inviting online applications to fill up 47 non-executive vacancies. The vacancies are available in various location of the PSU organisation in the Pipelines Division. IOCL has published a detailed advertisement in this regard at the official website iocl.com. Online applications can be submitted from December 22, 2020, to January 15, 2021, at the website plis.indianoilpipelines.in. IOCL is going to conduct a written test tentatively on February 14, 2021, for selection of eligible applicants. Final selection is to be done through subsequent skill/proficiency/physical test.
The vacancies are available for the posts of Engg. Asstt in various disciplines and Technical Attendant. These openings are available in different locations including the states of West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Jharkhand, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Odisha, Gujarat and Rajasthan. IOCL Recruitment 2021 for 47 Non-Executive Post Detailed Advertisement
Selected candidates are to be appointed in the Grade IV of the Pay Scale Rs 25000 – 105000 for Engineering Assistant posts. On the other hand, Technical Attendant post holders are to be paid a salary as per Grade I in the pay scale of Rs 23000 – 78000. In addition, incumbents are also entitled to receive DA, HRA and other benefits as per the norms of IOCL.
Candidates who have attained the age of 18 years and are not more than 26 years of age as on December 22, 2020 are eligible to apply for this recruitment. However, relaxations on the upper age limit are available for candidates belonging to special reserved categories as per government norms in vogue. There are no relaxations on the minimum educational qualifications that the applicants must hold in order to apply for the advertised posts.
Candidates holding three years full-time Diploma in respective disciplines are eligible to apply for the post of Engineering Assistant. Such applicants must have secured at least 55% marks in the qualifying exam in order to apply. On the other hand, 10th pass and ITI pass candidates are eligible to apply for the Technical Attendant posts. Apart from the trade of Mechanic (Diesel), 10th pass candidates must have completed the ITI certificate course in 2 years duration in order to apply.
As stated before IOCL is to conduct a written exam as per schedule for shortlisting of the eligible applicants. The minimum pass marks in the written test is 40% while for SC/ST, ESM and PWD candidates, the minimum pass marks is 30%. Those who qualify through the written exam are to be shortlisted for the skill/proficiency/physical test (SPPT) in the ratio of 1:5. The SPPT is only qualifying in nature. However, qualifiers are only allowed to appear in it following document verification.
An application fee of Rs 100 must be paid by all candidates (except SC/ST and PWD candidates) in order to apply. The application fee can only be paid online through SBI Collect. The fee can be paid after registering at the portal plis.indianoilpipelines.in. The registration number generated must be entered in order to pay the fee.
