Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, Research and Development Section is looking for the eligible candidates for the vacant posts of Project Manager, Post Doc, Project Technician and Laboratory Attendant. Candidates can download the official notification fro the official website, iitg.ac.in. As per the official notification, IIT G has announced a total of 06 vacancies in the Research and Development Section. Candidates with PhD/ Diploma/ Masters Degree/ 12th class can submit their applications. The last date to apply for the recruitment is February 05, 2021. Eligible candidates can appear for the walk-in-interview that will place on February 09, 2021.
The recruitment for IIT G is announced for the project titled “Development of Sustainable Materials from Oil and Bio-Refinery Streams”. The advertised posts are available at the Department of Chemical engineering, IIT Guwahati. Interested and eligible candidates can appear for walk-in-interview as per schedule. The interview will start at 10:00. Eligible candidates will be sent an email regarding their shortlisting. However, the selection of the candidate is based on the interview only. Candidates will not get any call letter separately for the interview.
Eligible candidates will be recruited for 11 months only. During their service period, the candidate will also receive the monthly salary depending on the post they are selected for. Those who are recruited as Project Manager gets a monthly salary of Rs. 80,130. For the post of Post Doc, candidates will get Rs. 47650/-. Aspirants recruited as Project Technician gets a monthly salary of Rs. 14590/- and Rs. 9890/- for the Laboratory Attendant.
Before appearing for the interview, candidates have to submit the online applications for the recruitment. They have to send an advance copy of the CV mentioning their educational qualifications, experience certificate and others to [email protected].
To apply for recruitment, the candidate must meet the minimum educational qualifications. Candidates who have PhD degree in relevant field can apply for the post of Post Doc. They must also have a minimum of one year of work experience in the concerned department. Those who have M.Tech in Pulp and Paper Science/ Biomaterials and PhD in Wood Sciences and Technology/ Polymers can apply for the post of Project Manager.
Candidate with Diploma in Polymer Engineering is eligible for the post of Project Technician. They should also have at least two years experience in Polymer Industry/ Laboratory. 12th pass candidates with one-year working experience in the polymer industry can apply for the Laboratory Attendant post.
