Education Minister, Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ has released CBSE class 10, 12 date sheet 2021. The minister announce it via his official Twitter handle. The board is conducting class 10th examinations from May 4 to June 7, 2021, and class 12th exams are going to be held from May 4 to June 11, 2021.
The CBSE class 12 exams will be held in 2 shifts 10:30 am to 1:30 pm and then from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. On the other hand, the class 10 exam will be held in 1 shift only that is from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.

Students can also download the date sheet from the official website. The date sheets will be available on the board’s website soon. To download the exam date sheet, students need to visit the official website of CBSE, cbse.gov.in. On the homepage of the website, students will need to click on the link which says ‘classes 10, 12 date sheet’. After this, the time table pdf will appear on the screen. Finally, students may download and take a print out of the date sheet for reference.
The admit card for the board examination is likely to be released in April and the results will be announced This year, the syllabus has been reduced to 30 percent, and the paper will contain 33 percent internal choice questions.
The board will conduct the examinations following the necessary guidelines and by maintaining the social distance at the exam centers. Students will also have to wear face masks when appearing for the board examination and carry hand sanitizer, hand gloves too.
Last year, as the board examinations were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, CBSE has adopted a new marking scheme. According to the new policy, the subjects for which the exams were not held, marks were awarded based on the ‘average of best of three subjects’ for which the student has already given the exam. In case of a student appeared for only three papers, the assessment was done on the basis of the best of two and for limited students who appeared for only one or two exams, the marks obtained in the internal or practicals will be considered.
