The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has made an important announcement regarding CSEET 2021. The institute has decided to hold a re-test on May 10, 2021, for CSEET 2021 exam. Those candidates who could not appear in the CSEET exam held on May 8, 2021, will get another chance to appear in the re-test, which will again be in remote proctored mode.
However it may be noted that those who require this chance and still do not appear in the re-test, will be marked as absent.
ICSI is separately sending batch timings, user id, password to all such candidates who missed the test. Candidates are getting this details via emails and sms. On May 10, 2021, that is tomorrow, candidates must login with the provided credentials in the timing provided.
The admit card issued previously needs to be referred for instructions. Also, instructions on downloading safe examination browser were given last week.
To download safe examination browser, one has to go to https://icseet.azurewebsites.net/index_controller_CSEET/login. Then enter CSEET registration number, DOB, and submit. Then click the download SEB button to get it. After downloading the SEB, candidates who will take the re-test, must run the software SEBLite in their system. Then, at the assigned date and time of the exam, login with loginid and password to take the test.
When Will CSEET Results Be Announced?
The CSEET results of exam held on August 29, and 31, were announced on September 17. Then the result of exams held on November 21, and 22, were announced on November 26. While the result of CSEET held on January 9, was out on January 18.
As can be seen, the CSEET results take anywhere between 4 to 17 days to be announced.
Therefore, for this time’s CSEET, one can expect the results to be announced at the earliest by May 14, 2021, and latest by May 27, 2021.
Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) is the version of first level Company Secretaries exam, that has replaced the Foundation programme. Only those who pass CSEET can then move on to CS Executive. The CSEET test has questions on business communication, legal aptitude and logical reasoning, economic and business environment, and current affairs. There are a total of 120 questions of 170 marks. Final score in CSEET is computed out of 200, that includes the test and viva voce scores.
Those who get at least 40% marks in each paper, and 50% overall will be declared as pass in CSEET.
