ICSI Held CSEET 2021 Exam Today, Expect Result Near 4th Week of May; Also Check Details of July Exam

Due to the surge in COVID-19 cases, CSEET May 2021 was conducted through remote proctored mode instead of being held at test centres.

CSEET

CS Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) May 2021 was held today in an online proctored mode. Institute of Company Secretaries of India conducted the exam for entry of the eligible candidates in ICSI CS programmes. Candidates who have registered for the May exam took the test through their laptop or desktop from home or any such convenient place. The May exam was online proctored only, as the centre-based test was not conducive amidst the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic in India.

ICSI conducted the exam in batches. Candidates were sent the batch timings, User Id and password for the CSEET exam through e-mail or SMS separately. Students had to login 15 minutes prior to the test start time.

The exam was held for a total of 200 marks, for two hours. Questions in the test came from Business Communication, Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning, Economic and Business Environment, and Current Affairs.

ICSI will be declaring the result of the ICSI CSEET May 2021 exam around the 4th week of May 2021. The result will be available online only, at icsi.edu. Candidates are only termed “Pass” if they score more than the minimum qualifying marks. In CSEET candidates have to score a minimum of 40% marks in each subject of CSEET 2021 and overall they will need 50% marks.

To check the result students will need CSEET registration number and date of birth. No physical copy of result-cum-marks-statement is issued to the candidates.

CSEET 2021 is being 4 times. The first session was the May session, the upcoming exam sessions are in 2nd week of Jul 2021, 2nd week of Nov 2021 and in the 2nd week of Jan 2022.

The registration for July 2021 session is going on and will end on June 15, 2021. The candidates who opted out of the CSEET 2021 May session, will be also joining the July session. If they have already registered for the May session by paying the fee, then they need not register again for the July session. Their candidature is forwarded to the July session automatically after opting-out from the May session.

Fresh candidates who wish to appear for CSEET 2021 in July, have to register online at icsi.edu with personal and address details of the candidates such as qualification, name, gender, category, date of birth, email id, mobile number, address, etc. Next, they need to upload the mandatory documents and preview the application. Lastly, payment of the application fee must be done to apply for CSEET July 2021 successfully.

The CSEET 2021 dates for July session is yet to be announced.
