Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) will release the admit card for Haryana Police Male Constable (General Duty) examination on July 31, 2021. The admit card will be released in the login portal of advt 4/2020, which is available at hssc.gov.in. The candidates who have applied for HSSC written examination for the Male Constable shall appear for the exam on August 7 or 8, 2021. The exam date and time for each candidate will be mentioned on the admit card.
The Haryana Police Constable written test will be held in two shifts. Shift 1 of the exam will be held from 10:30 am to 12:00 noon. The timing for shift 2 is from 03:00 pm to 04:30 pm. Entry at the examination center will begin at 8:30 am for shift 1 and at 1:00 pm for shift 2.
To download the Haryana Police Constable admit card, candidates will have to first visit the website hssc.gov.in. Then, click on the login page of adv42020.hryssc.in. This will now take them to the login window where they will have to enter their login Id and password. In a new window, they will have to click on “Download Admit Card for Examination date 7 & 8 August 2021 against the Advt. No 04/2020”. The candidates can also download their admit card from the direct link (adv42020.hryssc.in/StaticPages/HomePage.aspx).
According to the instructions, the candidates will have to bring the printed admit card with two recent coloured photos and a photo Id proof. One photo is to be pasted on the admit card. The candidates will have to paste a photograph duly attested by Gazetted Officer at mark ‘B’ in the admit card. The valid id proof can be a Driving License, Aadhar, Voter Card, Passport, etc.
Candidates will also have to wear a face mask at the examination center. A vaccination certificate is also mandatory for them at the time of examination.
The written test will consist of 100 objective type questions. Each question will carry 0.80 marks and there will be no negative marking in the test. Further, the duration of the written exam will be of 90 minutes (1 hour and 30 minutes). The medium of the exam is set as bilingual i.e Hindi and English, except for the English language questions.
The test will include questions based on General Studies, Current Affairs, General Science, Reasoning, Mental Aptitude, Numerical ability, Agriculture, Animal husbandry, etc. There shall be at least ten questions relating to basic knowledge of Computer. The candidates seven times the number of total vacancies in each category shall be declared qualified for the physical test.
7 times the number of vacancies candidates who will qualify the written will be called for shall be declared to have qualified the Knowledge Test (KT). Then candidates who will qualify KT will be called for Physical Screening Test (PST). The PST is only a qualifying exam but only those candidates will be called for Physical Measurement Test (PMT) who will qualify PST. Candidates who will qualify PMT shall be called for further selection process.
Earlier in 2020, the commission had invited online applications for Male Constable from January 11 to February 10, 2020. The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill a total of 5,500 posts of Constable in the Haryana Police Department. In a series of official notices, the Commission has finalized the exam dates for various Group C recruitment exams including Constable (Commando Wing), Patwari, Canal Patwari, and Gram Sachiv, etc.
