Today, July 15, 2021, is the last date to register for the two important engineering entrance exams – Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2021 Phase 4 and Uttar Pradesh Common Entrance Test (UPCET) 2021. Interested candidates still have a few hours to complete the online registration formalities on the official websites jeemain.nta.nic.in and upcet.nta.nic.in. While the former is a national-level entrance examination, the latter is a state-level entrance exam conducted in Uttar Pradesh. Here are the upcoming developments for the two engineering entrance exams.
What’s next for JEE Main 2021?
National Testing Agency (NTA) had extended the registration deadline for JEE Main 2021 Phase 4 examination to July 15, 2021, up to 9:00 pm. Thereafter, students are allowed to pay the application fee by July 15, 2021, up to 11:50 pm. All these formalities are to be completed on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.
At the same time, NTA has also released the admit cards for the JEE Main 2021 April session on the official website. The third session is scheduled to be conducted on July 20, 22, 25, and 27, 2021, through the computer-based format. A total of 7,09,519 registered students are expected to appear for the third session.
Similarly, the JEE Main 2021 May session is scheduled from July 27 to August 02, 2021. However, due to the clashing of dates with the first session, NTA may postpone these dates. Admit cards for the same are likely to release next week on the official website. Due to time constraints, candidates will not be given any correctio window to make changes in their application form.
What’s next for UPCET 2021?
NTA recently extended the last date to register for the UPCET 2021 examination to July 15, 2021, up to 5:00 pm. Thereafter, the last date to fill the entrance exam fee is July 15, 2021, up to 11:50 pm. Candidates are instructed to complete their online registration formalities on the official website upcet.nta.nic.in.
Thereafter, NTA shall provide a correction facility to students from July 17 to 20, 2021. Candidates are instructed to make changes in their application form during this period, only if necessary. Beyond this period, no correction requests will be entertained by authorities.
While the registration schedule has been announced, NTA is yet to announce the revised date for conducting the UPCET 2021 examination. The entrance exam is likely to be conducted after the JEE Main 2021 fourth session to avoid exam clashes. While these are mere speculations, candidates are advised to visit the official websites frequently to get their queries resolved.
