Himachal Pradesh University has published a latest recruitment notification to fill up 28 contractual vacancies. The vacancies are for various posts such as Placement Officer, PGT, Sports Assistant etc. Eligible and intending candidates are required to apply online at the official website i.e. hpuuniv.ac.in. The last date of submission of online applications is January 07, 2021. Eligible candidates are to be selected through a written test and subsequent stages of interview, skill test and document verification.
The complete post details according to the available vacancies can be checked from the detailed advertisement released by the University. 01 vacancy each is available for the posts of Placement Officer, Students Activity & Sports Assistant (SAS), Junior Engineer (Auto), Work Inspector, Electrician Gr. II (Junior Technician Electrical), Mason Gr.II, Painter Gr.II and Library Attendant. In addition, 08 vacancies are also available in various subjects for Post Graduate Teacher (PGT), 07 for the post of Junior Officer Assistant (IT), and 05 for the post of Plumber-Pipe-Fitter-Gr.II.
HPU Recruitment 2021 for Placement Officer & Other Posts Detailed Advertisement
Selected candidates are to be placed at a Pay Scale as per the Category of the post. The posts are available in Categories B, C and D. One must read the advertisement carefully for such details. In addition, candidates must also read the minimum eligibility criteria specified against each post and ensure that they fulfil the same before applying.
A Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology with 55% or more marks and 10 plus years of experience is required to apply for the post of Placement Officer. Similarly, candidates holding a Master’s degree in respective subjects with at least 50% marks and a B.Ed degree with 50% marks can apply for the post of Post Graduate Teacher.
A first class Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education is required to apply for the post of SAS. Candidates holding a Diploma in Automobile/Mechatronics/Mechanical Engineering are eligible to apply for the post of Junior Engineer (Auto). Class 12th pass candidates can apply for the post of Junior Officer Assistant (IT). Candidates must refer to the advertisement for the complete details of minimum educational qualifications for all the posts. It may be noted that the minimum and maximum age to apply for this recruitment is 18 and 45 years respectively. However, relaxations on the upper age limit are available for candidates belonging to special reserved categories.
Himachal Pradesh University is going to conduct written tests for selection of candidates. The test structure and pattern of exam is indicated separately for each post. Candidates are advised to read about the same from the detailed advertisement and prepare for the exam in advance. Final selection is subject to qualification in the exam and subsequent selection stages indicated for each post separately.
Only online applications are accepted for this recruitment through the official website of the Himachal Pradesh University only. Candidates are required to register first and note down the User ID and Password to login and submit the application fee. Candidates belonging to General category have to pay a fee of Rs 2000 for Category B posts and Rs 1200 for other categories. SC/ST, EWS, OBC and BPL candidates of the state have to pay Rs 1000 for Category B posts and Rs 600 for other categories. ESM candidates of the state are exempted from the payment of any fees.
