The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has successfully conducted FMGE 2021 Exam today i.e. June 18, 2021. FMGE is a national level screening test for foreign medical graduates who wish to register with the Medical Council of India or any other State Medical Council. The conducting body will be releasing FMGE June 2021 Result on June 30, 2021, online at natboard.edu.in.
Earlier, students were demanding the cancellation/ postponement of the FMGE June 2021 examination. However, the Supreme Court declined the plea. The conducting body has also said that FMGE examination is important to conduct as scheduled to tackle the shortage of medical staff in the country. The exam was conducted today on June 18, 2021 with strict protocols of COVID-19. Candidates got their respective admit cards, COVID-19 travelling pass and other instructions for the exam day a few days before the exam. Aspirants were also asked to follow the COVID-19 instructions, social distancing at the exam centre due to which the exam was conducted smoothly.
Now, candidates who appeared for the FMGE exam 2021 can expect FMGE result 2021 on June 30, 2021. Candidates can check their FMGE June 2021 result online at natboard.edu.in. They have to click on the FMGE June 2021 button to access the result link. Thereafter, the FMGE result PDF will appear on the screen. Candidates are advised to download the result PDf for future reference.
In the FMGE result, candidates can check details including the roll number of qualifying candidates, score out of 300 marks and status of qualification (pass/fail). In order to qualify the exam, candidates need to secure the minimum qualifying marks prescribed by NTA. As per the notification, aspirants have to secure a minimum of 50% marks in the screening test to clerk the exam. This means that they have to obtain a minimum of 150 marks out of 300 marks to clear FMGE June 2021 Screening Test.
Candidates who clear the Screening Test can register for provisional registration/ permanent registration. But first, they have to apply to the Secretary, Medical Council of India, New Delhi or to any State Medical Council along with the requisite registration fee in favour of the Secretary, Medical Council of India or the State Medical Council.
The Medical Council of India or the State Medical Councils may also issue provisional registration who are yet to undergo their one-year internship. Candidates who have already undergone a one-year internship will also get provisional registration, as the case may be.
