Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) is soon going to announce the Upper Divisional Clerk (UDC) 2022 phase I result, preferably by the end of this month. The phase I recruitment exam was conducted on March 19, at selected centers across the country. Authorities will be releasing the merit list of qualified candidates along with announcing the cut-off marks. Of course, there is no exact date for the result announcement. However, there are several reports claiming the merit list to come out by the end of April 2022.
ESIC UDC 2022 Overview of Selection Process
The ESIC UDC 2022 Phase I or preliminary stage is over and merit list for this stage shall come out soon. All those who score equal to or above the cut-off will be eligible for the subsequent stages – Mains Examination (Phase II) and Computer Skills Test. Both stages will result in the provisional selection of candidates for final recruitment. However, the actual selection is based on document verification. Thorough verification of a candidate’s eligibility is needed for final recruitment.
As of now, there is no clarity on the result date, let alone the dates for the remaining stages of the ESIC UDC 2022 recruitment process. Candidates, however, are advised to keep track of the official website esic.nic.in for the latest updates in this regard.
ESIC UDC 2022 Expected Cut Off
As of now, ESIC has not announced the cut-off for UDC Phase I 2022 recruitment. However, experts have predicted the cut-off on the basis of region-wise cut-off announced in the year 2019. Following is a table summarising the region-wise previous-year cut-off for unreserved (UR) category –

Looking at the ESIC UDC 2022 region-wise cut-off, it is important to note that the figures lie between the range of 150-and 170. A similar range is expected to follow suit this year. Candidates who score within this range have a high chance of qualifying for the next stage. Of course, candidates belonging to reserved categories have a lower cut-off to clear. The exact figure shall be disclosed during result announcement.
