East Central Railway is all set to conduct walk-In interview for engagement of General Duty Doctors and Specialist Doctors on contract basis in 2020. The division of the Indian Railways has published a detailed advertisement in this regard at the official website i.e. ecr.indianrailways.gov.in. 05 vacancies are advertised in total for the posts of CMP (Specialist) and CMP/GDMO. Eligible and intending candidates can apply on the prescribed proforma till 10.30 AM of the date of the interview. The interview is scheduled to be conducted on December 07, 2020.
As per the detailed advertisement, 02 vacancies are available for the post of CMP (Specialist) while 03 vacancies are available for the post of CMP/GDMO. All the vacancies are available in the Central Cum Super Specialty Hospital/Patna. The engagement is to be done on a contract basis for a period of one year. However, the contract can be renewed on year to year basis (up to 12 years only) or till the posts filled by regular doctors selected by the UPSC or the scheme is available (whichever is earlier).
Specialist doctors are to be paid Rs 95000/month for the first year, Rs 105,000/month for the second year and onward. GDMO post holders are to be paid Rs 75000/month. Deductions are applicable as HRA in case accommodation is provided by the Railway. One set of 1st class complementary pass for self and family is reimbursed by the railway to appointed candidates during each contract period after completion of the initial three months of regular service.
Candidates must not be more than 53 years old as on 12.11.2020 in order to apply for the recruitment. The upper age limit if relaxable by 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST community. In addition, 03 years relaxation is also applicable for candidates belonging to OBC community. For Retired IHRS officers, retired government medical officers of the state government, central government and PSUs, the maximum permissible age as on 12.11.2020 is 65 years.
One must have a MBBS+MD (Medicine) or MBBS + Diploma/MS in Opthalmology qualification in order to apply for the post of CMP (Specialist). Candidates having MBBS qualification can apply for the post of CMP/GDMO. However, those who are trained in ICU are preferred for this post. Candidates must be registered with the Medical Council of India/Medical Council of State.
Applications for the recruitment can be submitted on the proforma provided with the detailed advertisement only. Intending candidates have to fill up the form and submit the same till 10.30 AM on the date of interview. The interview is scheduled to be conducted at Conference Hall, 1st Flower Central cum Super Specialty Hospital/ECR/Patna/Karbigahiya.
