The Delhi Subordinate Service Selection Board (DSSSB) has released the admit cards for the Head Clerk recruitment examination. Candidates who have applied for the examination can now download the admit cards from the official website – dsssb.delhi.gov.in. The examination will be held in an online mode via a computer-based test (CBT) facility. For downloading the admit cards, examinees will need their date of birth, class 10 roll number, class 10 passing year, password and visual code.
Exam Dates
As per the official schedule released by DSSSB, the Head Clerk 46/21 recruitment examination is going to be held from February 21 to 27, 2022. The exams will span over 06 days. Hence, after downloading the admit cards, it is advised to check the examination centre, date and timing, carefully. Candidates are instructed to follow necessary COVID-19 safety measures such as wearing masks, social distancing, etc. on the examination days.
Salary
According to the official notification, a total of 12 vacancies along with 01 for PH (OH) candidates will be filled via this recruitment drive. The minimum qualification required from the candidates is a graduation degree from a recognized university. The candidates must possess computer proficiency as well. Moreover, the selection process involves tier 1 and tier 2 examinations. The pay scale for Head Clerk ranges from Rs 9300 to Rs 34800 along with grade pay of Rs 4600.
Syllabus
There will be two sections in the Tier 1 examination. Section A will comprise General Awareness, General Intelligence and Reasoning Ability, Arithmetical and Numerical Ability, Hindi Language and Comprehension along with English Language and Comprehension. However, Section B of the exam paper will be on the subject concerned for the particular exam.

Exam Instructions
The examination centres are in the Delhi/NCR region itself. Candidates have been instructed to carry their original aadhaar card or any other government-issued identity proof to the examination centres. In case someone fails to do so, then they will not be allowed to appear for the examination.
- The questions asked in the examination will be bilingual, i.e. they will be in both Hindi and English.
- There will be no provision of re-checking or re-evaluating the answer scripts in the DSSSB Head Clerk examination.
- All sorts of electronic and communication devices such as laptop, calculator, cell phone, pager, etc. are not allowed inside the examination hall.
- In terms of dress code, the candidate should wear light clothes with half sleeves. Although shoes are not allowed, they can wear slippers and sandals with low heels.
