Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) recently released the provisional answer key for CTET 2022 examination. Prior to this, the main question paper were released, and even before that, the response sheet was issued. All of these have been released on the official website ctet.nic.in.

Moreover, the board has provided an objection facility for candidates to communicate any mistakes or inaccuracies in the answer key. This facility will remain active on the official website till February 04, 2022. Those who appeared for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2022 examination are instructed to use this paid facility wisely before the deadline.

What is CTET Main Question Paper 2022?

This time the CTET exam was held on multiple days. The question papers on each day had different lots of questions. When CBSE had released the response sheet, they had released the candidate’s QP with responses. However after that, they released a master set of question papers. This is referred to as the CTET main question paper 2022.

The main question paper is important because candidates are supposed to match the answer key with these, and not the QP they see in their response sheet login.

After the CTET 2022 provisional answer key release, several educators have discussed the key on their dedicated YouTube channels and figured out the incorrect responses. In addition to watching these videos, candidates are advised to take a look at the key themselves before raising objections.

CTET 2022 Answer Key Discussion on YouTube

Several educators and coaching institutes have uploaded dedicated videos on YouTube to discuss the CTET Answer Key 2022. The comment section of such videos are flooded with issues and objections against the key. Some candidates are finding an issue between the Hindi translation of questions. Others are finding inaccuracies in the data provided.

It is important to note that in case of differences between Hindi and English versions, the latter will be given priority while curating the final answer key. For inaccuracies in figures and data, candidates can raise these issues through the objection facility with proper justification.

CTET 2022 – How to match answers, and look for wrong answers?

Most candidates are facing an issue while comparing the joint question paper and response sheet with the provisional answer key. This is not the process for identifying the mistakes in answer key.

A candidate has to download his/her day-specific master question paper and compare it with the provisional answer key. It is important to ensure that both documents are of the same date and the same slot in which the candidate gave the exam.

For identifying wrong answers, the first step is to mark all the right options in the question paper by referring to the provisional answer key. Thereafter, a candidate must download the CTET 2022 response sheet and compare the options. This will help to achieve two objectives – 1. Determining a tentative score, and 2. Identifying the right options.

After identifying the incorrect answers in CTET 2022 answer key, candidates must make a note of them along with the actual right option. It is also important for them to find proper reasoning or justification to defend their objections. Only after following these steps should a candidate move on to the objection facility.

CTET 2022 Objection Facility

The CTET 2022 objection facility is currently active on the exam’s official website. It will remain active till February 04, 2022, by which candidates need to submit their objections supported by proper justification. It is important to note that this is a paid facility and to raise objections against each question, candidates need to pay Rs.1000 as facility charges.

Once submitted, candidates will not be able to edit or rectify their objections. Furthermore, this facility can be availed only once. So, before submitting the objections, a candidate is advised to review them carefully.
