CTET 2021 Admit Card Out @ctet.nic.in, Check Steps to Download

CBSE has issued the CTET 2021 admit card through candidates login at ctet.nic.in today. The exam is scheduled to be held on January 31, 2021.

CBSE has uploaded the CTET 2021 Admit Card on the official website today. Earlier, the Board announced that the offline exam is scheduled to be conducted on January 31, 2021. Registered candidates have to log in to ctet.nic.in with the Application Number & Date of Birth in order to download the admit card. CTET admit card is mandatory to be produced at the exam centre in order to get entry into the exam hall. The Central Board of Secondary Education is conducting the exam for determining the eligibility for recruitment as a teacher of Class I to VIII.

How to download CTET 2021 Admit Card?

The CTET admit card is issued through the official website only. There is no provision to receive the admit card through post or any other means. Registered candidates have to visit the official website from today onward to download the admit card and generate print outs of it. Check out the step by step process to get the admit card from ctet.nic.in below.

1st Step: Open the website ctet.nic.in using a compatible internet browser.

2nd Step: The link to download the admit card is activated on the homepage. Candidates can see three different links for downloading the CTET 2021 admit card.

3rd Step: Click on any of the published link and the page automatically redirects to the candidate log in page.

4th Step: Enter the Application Number, Date of Birth and Security Pin in the designated spaces.

5th Step: Click on Submit to open the admit card.

6th Step: Check the details carefully and save a copy of the admit card on your device.

7th Step: Generate 3-4 print outs of the admit card for carrying to the exam centre and future reference.

Important Guidelines Related to CTET 2021

As per the official information brochure of CTET 2021, candidates must carefully check the information printed on the admit card including the photograph & candidates’ signature. In case of any discrepancies, candidates must contact the CTET Unit immediately for necessary corrections.

The exact date, time and venue of the exam centre are indicated on the CTET admit card. Candidates are required to read all the important instructions carefully and report to the exam centre well in time. Candidates are required to report to the designated exam centre 90 minutes before the commencement of the exam.

All registered candidates have to produce a print out of the CTET admit card at the exam centre. Without the admit card, candidates are not allowed to enter the exam centre. Along with the admit card, candidates are also required to carry a valid photo identification to the exam centre.

A list of all prohibited items are indicated on the CTET 2021 information brochure. These include mobile phones, calculators, textual materials and others. Candidates are advised in their own interest not to carry any such items with them.

The chosen exam language is indicated on the CTET 2021 admit card. Candidates must answer the questions in the same language as indicated on the admit card.

CTET 2021 Exam Pattern

The CTET exam is conducted as an offline test. Candidates have to mark their answers on the OMR sheets provided in the exam centre. The examination is conducted for two papers. Paper I is for eligibility as a teacher of Class I to V while Paper II is for eligibility as a teacher of Class VI to VIII.

CTET question paper consist of 150 MCQ type questions in each paper. Candidates are allowed 2.5 hours time to complete each paper. There is no negative marking in CTET 2021.
