Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan is currently conducting the REET 2021 Online Application Procedure. Aspirants who were eagerly waiting for the REET 2021 Exam can submit their applications online at rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in or reetbser21.com. Applicants have to pay Rs. 550/- (Rs.750/- for both level) as Rajasthan Eligibility Exam for Teacher (REET 2021). The last date for REET 2021 Online Application is February 08, 2021.
Before candidates start applying for the REET Exam it is crucial to go through the REET 2021 eligibility criteria. Candidates who are applying for Level 1 (Class 1 to Class 5) should have passed class 12th with 50% marks and have passed or appearing in the final year of D.El.Ed/D.El.Ed in accordance with NCTE/ B.El.Ed. Those who have a graduation degree in any discipline with 02-year D.El.Ed (passed or final year) can also apply for the REET 2021 Level 1 Exam.
Applicants interested in Level 2 (Class 6 to Class 8), must have a graduation degree in any discipline with 02-year D.El.Ed/ B.Ed/B.Ed in accordance with NCTE. Candidates who have passed 12th class with 50% marks and have passed/ appearing in the final year of 04 years B.El.Ed can also apply for REET Exam Level 2. Those who have passed Class 12th and 04-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed/B.Sc.Ed is also eligible for REET 2021 Level 2. Applicants with graduation or post-graduation with 50% marks and 01-year B.Ed (Special education) can also submit their applications for REET Level 2.
Other than the educational qualification, aspirants also have to fulfil the REET age limit. Eligible candidates must have completed the minimum age limit of 18 years while applying. Also, there is no upper age limit for the REET 2021 Exam. It is important to note that candidates can submit their REET 2021 Application Form for both levels. For this, they need to make sure that they fulfil the eligibility for both levels altogether.
Moreover, the conducting body has also made some major changes in the REET exam. As we know, the Rajasthan Eligibility Exam for Teachers is taking place after a long gap of 03 years, BSER has done some modifications in terms of qualifying marks, REET syllabus. As per the latest notice, now ST (Non-TSP)/SC/ OBC/ EWS/ MBC candidates need to obtain minimum 55% marks (earlier 60%), Widow/Ex-servicemen has to secure 50% marks (earlier 60%), PH candidates have to obtain 40% marks (earlier 60%) to qualify the exam. Other than this the conducting body has not included B.Ed candidates in Level 1. As per the notice, B.Ed candidates have several options such as L-2, Grade-2, Grade-1 options.
Earlier, the REET exam syllabus was based on the 2011 textbook syllabus. However, many changes have been made in textbooks in the past years. So, BSER has prepared the REET 2021 Syllabus based on the current curriculum based on NCTE guidelines. Topics such as Geography, History, Art, Culture etc of Rajasthan are also newly added.
