CTET 2018 Application Form Correction

The Central Board of Secondary Education has started the window for editing the online application form. The facility is available only for the candidates who have already registered for CTET 2018 before the last date, which is August 27, 2018. The applicants are now given a chance to edit/ modify the details if need so before the deadline. The candidates can edit details in the Application Form only until September 15, 2018.

To edit details in the application form, the candidates need to visit the official website at ctet.nic.in. Next, click on the “Online Correction for CTET 2018” button. Log in by entering details such as Registration Number and Password. Click on the “Submit” button and start editing the details in the application form.


Though the applicants are given a chance to edit details in their application form, however, only limited details can be edited. The candidates can shall be permitted to make on-line correction in their following particulars, like, Candidate’s Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Date of Birth, Category, Differently abled category, Paper opted (i.e. Paper I or Paper II), Subject for Paper – II, First choice of the test center, Language opted (I and/ or II), Address of the candidate, Name of the Institution/ College/ University from where you have obtained your B.Ed Degree/ Diploma in Elementary Education etc.

The candidates should note that the exam conducting body will provide this facility only once. This means that the students can edit the details as many times as they want to, however, after the last date for making corrections in the application form is over, you can not edit details.

The CTET Application Form Correction is to be done by online mode only. No change will be accepted through offline mode i.e. through fax/application or by email etc.

While editing the details in the application form it is advised to keep the relevant documents/ certificate ready with yourself to avoid any error. Enter your Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name and Date of Birth as per the Class Xth Certificate.

After the editing process is over, the candidates will then be issued CTET 2018 Admit Card online at the official website. The exam conducting body has not yet announced any date for the issuance of the admit card, but it is expected that the candidates shall be able to download a week or two before the exam.
