Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released two important official notifications today, December 22, 2021. These are – 1. CDS 2022 Notification and, 2. NDA 2022 Notification. According to the official CDS 2022 notification, interested and eligible candidates can begin applying for the recruitment drive, starting today. They will be required to complete the application formalities on or before January 11, 2022, up to 12:30 am. Additionally, the CDS 2022 recruitment exam is scheduled to be held on April 10, 2022, being held through the pen-and-paper format.
Before filling out the CDS 2022 application form, candidates are advised to read through the entire notification.

Prior to applying for the CDS 2022 recruitment drive, candidates need to read through four important eligibility criteria which are as follows-

CDS 2022 Vacancy
The total vacancies under the CDS 2022 recruitment drive are 341. Of which, the following are the vacancies for each branch of the Indian military –
# Indian Military Academy, Dehradun – 100
# Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala—Course – 22
# Air Force Academy, Hyderabad—(Pre-Flying) – 32
# Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai (Madras) – 170
# Officers Training Academy, Chennai (Madras) – 17
CDS 2022 How to Apply?
The CDS 2022 application process is fairly straightforward, requiring a candidate to follow a sequence of steps. They are as follows –
Step 1: Visit the official website of UPSC i.e., upsconline.nic.in.
Step 2: On the homepage of the website, click on the link attached to “ONLINE APPLICATION FOR VARIOUS EXAMINATIONS OF UPSC”.
Step 3: A new page will open containing the application links for NDA 2022 and CDS 2022. Click on the Part I link of CDS 2022 to access the application form.
Step 4: By doing so, on a new page, a set of instructions will appear on the screen in both Hindi and English languages. Read through them carefully before clicking on the ‘Yes’ option.
Step 5: In Part I of the registration process, fill in the basic details including name, date of birth, address, category, parents’ details, education qualifications, etc. Check these details carefully before moving to the next stage.
Step 6: In Part II of the application process, upload the required documents, pay the prescribed fee, select the exam center, and agree to the declaration. Documents such as photograph, signature, and photo ID need to be uploaded.
Step 7: After finishing both parts of the application process, print a copy of the registration process for future use or reference.
Candidates must remember to complete CDS 2022 Registration Part I and II on or before January 11, 2022, up to 12:30 am. Moreover, both parts need to be completed through the online mode on the official website.
