BSE Odisha Releases OTET 2021 Notification; Online Applications Available!

Board of Secondary Education, Odisha has released the OTET 2021 Notification. Eligible candidates can now submit OTET application form before March 08, 2021.

The Board of Secondary Education, Odisha (BSE Odisha) has released the official OTET 2021 Notification. Candidates intending to appear for Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test 2021 (OTET) can download it from bseodisha.ac.in. As per the advertisement, the online registrations shall start from February 20, 2021, which is today. Candidates who have a graduation degree with B.Ed can submit their applications for the OTET exam 2021. The applications should be submitted before the last date which is March 03, 2021.

Eligible aspirants can register for the OTET 2021 Exam 24X7. As we know, the registrations have already started online at BSE Odisha website. Aspirants can submit their registration form on or before the last date which is in March 2021. Moreover, applicants can pay the application fee before March 08, 2021, via offline mode. However, those who are paying the fee through online mode can pay the fee till March 09, 2021.

To access the link for OTET 2021 application form, eligible candidates have to visit the official website, bseodisha.ac.in. They will notice “OTET (1st) Application Link” under the latest update section. Candidates can either apply for Paper 1 or Paper 2. It is important to note that aspirants can submit an application for Paper 1 or Paper 2 or Paper 1 and Paper 2. However, to apply for both papers, candidates have to submit different applications. For this, they can not use the same mobile number and email address.

Moreover, there is also a registration fee to submit the OTET application form successfully. Candidates who belong to SC & ST Category have to make a payment of Rs. 300/-. Whereas other candidates have to pay Rs. 500/- as the application fee. They can pay the fee either online or offline mode. Payment can be made through Axis Bank Easy Pay using Internet banking, credit card/ debit card or cash payment through bank challan (offline mode).

Before applying, it is crucial to fulfill the specified minimum educational qualifications. Candidates must have a graduation degree with B.Ed to apply for the Paper 1 exam. Those who have passed 12th class and possess Diploma (in a specific field) can also apply for the Paper 1 exam. To apply for OTET Paper 2, candidates should have passed 12th class/graduation plus B.Ed/ Diploma. Furthermore, there is no upper age limit to submit applications for the OTET exam 2021.

Along with the notification and application form, BSE Odisha has also released the syllabus for the exam. The syllabus for OTET Paper 1 (Class 1 to Class 5) includes 05 subjects – Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I, Language-II, Mathematics and Environment Studies. The Paper 2 exam includes the Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I, Language-II and one optional subject. Candidates have to opt between Mathematics & Science and Social studies.
