Bharat Electronics Limited has issued a latest recruitment notification to fill up vacancies for the posts of Engineering Assistant Trainee (EAT) and Technician “C”. A total of 52 job openings are advertised by the PSU company in a detailed notification at bel-india.in. Eligible and interested candidates can read the notification and apply online at the official website after ensuring that they fulfil all eligibility criteria. The last date of submission of online applications is February 03, 2021.
Out of the 52 available vacancies, 25 are for the post of Engineering Assistant Trainee (EAT) in three main disciplines. There are 14 openings for Electronics & Communication, 10 for Mechanical and 01 for Electrical discipline. The rest of the vacancies are for the post of Technician “C” in the disciplines of Electro Mechanic (17), Fitter (03), Machinist (06) and Welder (01). Furthermore, for each post, the reservation of vacancies are also indicated in the official notification.
Selected candidates are to be appointed in the Pay Scale of Rs 24500-3%-90000 (CTC Rs 6.11 lakh) for the post of EAT. Those who are selected for the post of Technician “C” are appointed in the pay scale of Rs 21500-3%-82000 (CTC Rs 5.36 lakh). Those who are selected for the EAT post have to undergo an initial training period of 06 months during which, they are paid a stipend of Rs 10000 per month.
Indian nationals within the age of 28 years as on January 01, 2021 can apply for this recruitment. Candidates belonging to OBC-NCL, SC/ST and PWD categories can avail relaxations on the upper age limit as per provisions.
Candidates having a 3 years’ Diploma in Engineering qualification can apply for the post of EAT. Those who have passed Class 10 and have an ITI qualification can apply for the post of Technician “C” provided that they have complete 1-year apprenticeship training. Those who have completed 3 years National Apprenticeship Certificate course after Class 10 and ITI can also apply for Technician “C” post. No experience is required to apply for any of the advertised posts. It is however mandatory that candidates have registration in the Karnataka Employment Exchange.
Eligible applicants are to be called for appearing in a written test of 150 marks. The question paper consists of two parts i.e. General Aptitude of 50 marks and Technical Aptitude of 100 marks. Candidates have to secure at least 35% marks (in both parts separately) in order to qualify. For SC/ST and PWD candidates, the minimum qualifying marks in each part separately is 30%.
Interested candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 300 in order to apply. The fee can be paid online through SBI Collect. SC/ST and PWD candidates are exempted from the payment of any application fee. Candidates are advised to read the detailed advertisement carefully for the complete instructions to apply online.
