BECIL has issued a latest recruitment notification for engagement of 06 Consultant Language Editors on a contractual basis. BECIL has advertised vacancies for Consultant Language Editor post in the Office of Bureau of Outreach and Communication under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, New Delhi. The vacancies are to be filled up on a contractual basis. As per the notification, one vacancy each is available for the regional languages of Tamil, Kannada, Marathi, Punjabi, Bengali and Odia. Selected candidates are to be paid a monthly salary of Rs 75000 (after deducting tax) after their appointment.
BECIL Recruitment 2021 For 06 Consultant Language Editor Official Notification
Selected candidates are to be appointed on a contractual basis for an initial period of 1 year only. The candidates are posted at the location of New Delhi in the Office of the Bureau. Candidates are to be posted under supervision of Consulting Editors. The tenure of the contract is further extendable for five years subject to satisfactory performance in the designated post.
BECIL has laid down certain minimum eligibility criteria for applicants to fulfil before applying for the recruitment. Candidates having Graduate/Post Graduate degree or diploma in Mass Communication or Journalism are eligible to apply for the post of Consultant Language Editor. Applicants must be proficient in the regional language that they wish to apply for. In addition, fluency in Hindi & English is also required to apply. Applicants must have strong editing, writing, translation and typing skills. No age limit is specified by BECIL for applicants of this recruitment.
Selection of eligible applicants is to be done through an initial skill test, followed by a final interview to be conducted within one month. Applicants are required to bring their own laptop (having appropriate fonts) for the skill test. Final interview is to be held in New Delhi. Qualifiers are to be paid TA/DA for attending the final interview.

Applicants have to pay a fee of Rs 750 (Rs 500 extra for every additional post applied). For SC/ST, EWS and PH candidates, the application fee amount is Rs 450 (Rs Rs 300 extra for every additional post applied). In addition, candidates have to bear the charges of GST and any other bank charges.
