CA Foundation Dec 2020 Result Date Postponed To 7/8 Feb

ICAI CCM Dhiraj Khandelwal announced that they shall require more time to release the CA foundation and intermediate results.

The Indian Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAI) is likely to release the release of ICAI Foundation and intermediate 2020 results on December 7 and 8, 2021. The results are expected to be announced on the official website of the authorities i.e., icai.org. The CCM of ICAI also announced that they will require more time to declare the examination results. Furthermore, authorities have asked the CA foundation and intermediate exam-takers to wait for the official announcement of the CA results.

Dhiraj Khandelwal, the Central Council Member (CCM) of ICAI took to Twitter on February 2, 2021, announced that the exam results shall most likely be declared in this week, mostly on February 3, 2021. However, later he notified students that the results shall take some time. The next expected date for announcing the result is now February 07/08, 2021.

The ICAI CA foundation and intermediate results, when declared, can be accessed on the official website of the conducting body icai.org. Upon request, ICAI may also email the examination results to the candidates on their registered email ID. These results can also be accessed via SMS facility on the candidate’s registered mobile number.

Candidates can check their CA Foundation or intermediate results on the prescribed website by clicking on the ‘students login’ tab. Thereafter, they are required to enter their ICAI CA registration number or the PIN number allotted to them by the institute. By clicking on the ‘submit’ option, candidates can check their examination results.

ICAI had earlier announced the CA Final results on February 1, 2021 on the official website. Along with this, the institute also releases the All India merit list till rank 50. Subsequently, candidates who had appeared for the foundation and intermediate examination were eagerly waiting for the results. However, their wait has been prolonged and it is expected that the results shall be declared by this Sunday. But, no official announcement has been released on the website. Candidates are requested to visit the website frequently for any updates regarding the exam results.

ICAI CA foundation is an entry level examination conducted in India every years for candidates who wish to pursue the chartered accountancy course. ICAI conducted the CA foundation examination on December 8, 10, 12 and 14, 2020. By qualifying this exam, candidates are eligible to appear for the CA intermediate examination scheduled in 2021. However, graduates and postgraduates can get direct entry to appear for the intermediate examination. Results for CA foundation examination are expected to come out this week along with CA intermediate December 2020 results.
