The coaching institute has compiled the answer key for both papers of the UPSC Prelims exam held on October 10, 2021, on the basis of feedback received by the test takers. As the answer key is available as a PDF file, candidates can simply save them on their device and cross verify the answers.

As per Vajiram and Ravi, this year the paper level of UPSC CSE preliminary can be kept at a moderate level. The questions asked in the exam were of fairly high difficulty level. Also, a maximum number of questions in the GS paper 1 were directly or indirectly related to current affairs. The question paper was set in a way that it checked the candidate’s overall clarity of concepts, other than this, to solve such questions, they needed to be more fundamental in their approach.
Along with the basic paper level, the coaching also said that this year we might see a rise in the cut-off marks across all categories due to fewer vacancies compared to the previous year. Last year, the vacancies were equal to 752 however this time it’s merely 712, thus paving way for fewer students in the UPSC CSE mains round.
