Army Recruiting Office, Jamnagar is going to conduct an Army Recruitment Rally from February 01 to 15, 2021. The rally is for recruitment of physically fit and eligible candidates to the post of Soldier in various categories. The concerned ARO has published a detailed rally notification at the official recruitment website of the Indian Army i.e. joinindianarmy.nic.in. Eligible candidates from specified districts must register online at the aforementioned website from December 10, 2020, to January 18, 2021, in order to receive the admit card for participating in the rally. Admit Card is to be sent through registered email from January 22 to 27, 2021. A written test for qualifiers of the rally is to be conducted tentatively in April 2021.
The vacancies are available for the posts of Soldier (GD), Soldier Technical, Soldier Technical (Aviation/Ammunition Examiner), Soldier Nursing Assistant, Soldier Clerk/Store Keeper Technical/Inventory Management, Soldier Tradesman 10th Pass and Soldier Tradesman 8th Pass. Candidates within the age of 17.5 to 23 years can apply provided that they meet the specified minimum physical standards in terms of height, weight and chest expansion. The upper age limit for the post of Soldier (GD) is 21 years.
ARO Jamnagar Army Bharti Rally 2020-21 Official Notification
Only those candidates who are domiciled in the districts of Jamnagar, Porbandar, Rajkot, Amerli, Bhavnagar, Junagadh, Surendranagar, Kutch, Gir Somnath, Botad, Morbi and Devbhumi Dwarka & Diu (UT) are eligible. Applicants must ensure that they are COVID-19 symptoms free and meet the minimum eligibility conditions.
Candidates who have passed Class 10 with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject are eligible to apply for Soldier (GD) post. Those who have passed Class 12 in Science (PCM and English) with 50% aggregate and 40% in each subject can apply for Soldier Technical and Nursing Assistant post. 12th pass in any stream with 60% aggregate marks and 50% in each subject can apply for Soldier Clerk/Store Keeper Technical post. Simple 10th pass and 8th pass candidates can apply for Tradesman posts.
Candidates are to report to the rally site as per time and venue indicated on the admit card with mandatory documents including admit card, COVID-19 test report and other utilities. Late-comers and candidates without the valid documents are not allowed to participate in the rally.
The rally consist of physical fitness tests such as 1.6 Kms run, Pull-ups, 9 feet ditch and zig-zag balance. Candidates need to qualify in these tests as per standard and qualify through the physical measurement and medical tests at the rally ground. Qualifiers are to be issued admit cards on the ground for appearing in a selection test to be held in April 2021 (tentative).
It must be noted that all applicants have to mandatorily get the COVID-19 tests done and produce the reports (issued not before 72 hours from the rally date) at the rally grounds. Indian Army will not receive any documents after the rally is over and hence, candidates are advised to read the detailed notification carefully and make prior preparations to appear in the rally.
