Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences (MAIDS) is inviting applications to fill up 15 vacancies for Junior Resident post. Candidates holding undergraduate qualifications in Dental Science can apply before December 30, 2020, up to 12.00 PM. MAIDS will display the list of eligible/non-eligible applicants on the website maids.ac.in on January 10, 2021, while the admit cards for the screening test are to be issued from January 13 to 15, 2021 from the Admin Branch. MAIDS will conduct the screening test on January 16, 2021, and the results are to be displayed on the same day at the official website.
As per the official notification available at the MAIDS website, there are currently 15 vacancies available. Furthermore, 07 more vacancies have been sanctioned for Phase-II recruitment as well. As such, MAIDS will only select 07 candidates for this recruitment and the remaining posts are to be filled up after the commissioning of the Phase-II recruitment for Junior Resident posts.
MAIDS JUNIOR RESIDENT 2020 OFFICIAL NOTIFICATION
In order to apply, applicants must be holding a BDS qualification from a recognized university. This must include the completion of internship after December 11, 2018. The maximum permissible age of the applicants is 30 years as on the last date to apply. It must be noted that candidates holding higher qualifications such as a PG degree are not eligible for this recruitment. In addition those who have completed Jr. Residency before are also not eligible.
MAIDS will conduct a screening test for shortlisting of eligible applicants in the initial stage. Candidates have to qualify in the test by securing at least 50% marks (45% for OBC and 40% for SC/ST/EWS) in order to become eligible for the final selection interviews. Final selection is to be done on the basis of marks secured in the written screening test and final interview taken together.

Interested candidates fulfilling the prescribed eligibility conditions can fill-up their applications as per the proforma and send it to the Director-Principal, Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, New Delhi-110002 on or before the last date.
Candidates must attach self-attested copies of specified supporting documents and 2 copies of recent passport sized photographs along with their applications. An application fee of Rs 1000 (General & OBC) must be paid in the form of Demand Draft to the Director-Principal of MAIDS payable at New Delhi. SC/ST and EWS candidates have to pay only Rs 500.
