Army Recruiting Office, Hamirpur (UP) is inviting applications from male candidates of Hamirpur, Bilaspur and Una districts of Himachal Pradesh to take part in a recruitment rally. The ARO has issued a latest rally notification at the website joinindianarmy.nic.in. Capable candidates holding necessary qualifications are invited to apply online at the aforementioned website for recruitment to the post of Soldier. The mandatory online application process is open from December 31, 2020, to February 13, 2021. The rally is to be held from March 01 to 16, 2021 at Indira Gandhi Sports Stadium, Una, Himachal Pradesh.
As per the detailed notification released by ARO Hamirpur, the openings are for the posts of Soldier (General Duty) and Soldier Clerk/SKT. In addition, the rally is also being held for Jr. Commissioned (Religious Teacher) and Havildar (Surveyor Automated Cartographer) posts. Registration is mandatory for all posts. The admit card for the rally is to be dispatched to shortlisted applicants through the registered email address from February 15, 2021, onwards.
Intending candidates are advised to go through the detailed advertisement carefully before applying for this recruitment and ensure that they fulfil all eligibility conditions before applying. The minimum age of the applicants cannot be less than 17.5 years. The upper age limit of Soldier GD post is 21 years while for Soldier Clerk post, it is 23 years.
Candidates who have passed Class 10 with 45% or more marks and at least 33% in each subject are eligible to apply for Soldier GD post. Those who intend to apply for Soldier Clerk/SKT post must have passed Class 12 exam in any stream with at least 60% marks in aggregate and atleast 50% marks in each subject. It is also mandatory that applicants must have secured at least 50% marks in English and Maths/Accounts/Book Keeping.
The initial selection is to be done on the basis of physical events at the rally site. This includes the physical fitness tests., physical standards measurement and medical examination. Candidates have to qualify through PFT events including 1.6 Km run, Pull Ups, 9 Feet Ditch and Zig Zag Balance. Those who are declared FIT are issued the admit card for written examination.
Applicants must not forget to carry the admit card and other specified documents to the rally site. In addition to documents, one must also carry 20 copies of unattested coloured passport sized photographs. The reporting time is 4.30 AM at the entry gates of the rally site. The gate will close at 10.00 on each rally day.
Online registration is mandatory to take part in this Army Bharti Rally. Candidates are advised to follow the instructions on the detailed advertisement and apply online as per schedule. It may be noted that there is no application fee to be paid for army recruitment.
