Army Ordnance Corps Admit Card 2018 will be released soon. Indian Army HQ Southern Command AOC has not released an official notice regarding the release of the Admit Card but it is expected to be available in the month of April 2018. Only the eligible candidates will be able to get the admit card on the specified date.
To download the AOC Admit Card 2018, the candidates will have to first visit the official website http://www.aocrecruitment.gov.in. Then click on the link “Army Ordnance Corps Tradesman Recruitment“. Enter all the valid credentials and submit it. The candidates are advised to download the Admit Card and take the printout for the future reference.
The date of the entrance test is not released yet. Last year, the exam was held in the last week of April. So it is expected that this time the exam will be conducted nearly the last year’s date.
The entrance exam will be of Objective type. There will be 150 questions of multiple choice type which will have to be completed in 2 hours. The visually handicapped candidates will get 20 minutes extra. The questions will be of General Intelligence and Reasoning carrying 25 marks, Numerical Aptitude of 25 marks, General English and General Awareness containing 50 questions, Specialized topic carrying 50 marks. Each correct answer will contain 1 mark and there will be no negative marking in the entrance exam.
The candidates will be selected on the basis of the performance in Physical/ Practical/ Skill tests and Written Examination. The Physical/ Practical/ Skill tests will be qualifying in nature. Candidates will have to score the minimum qualifying marks in the written test to get shortlisted. If the applicant will be qualified then they will be appointed by Recruiting Authority on the basis of the availability of vacancies.
Indian Army has announced total 818 vacancies in the different categories including Tradesman Mate, LDC, Fireman, Safaiwala, Other Group C Posts. The pay scale is totally dependent on their post. The pay scale is started from Rs. 5,200 to Rs. 20,000.
