NEET 2018 Admit Card: Likely to be released today; Know how to download

Central Board of Secondary Education is conducting National Eligibility cum Entrance Test 2018 on May 06 2018. As per the experts, NEET 2018 Admit Card is likely to be released today on the official website of CBSE i.e ww.cbseneet.nic.in. NEET 2018 exam will be held in Hindi, English, Urdu, Gujarati, Marathi, Oriya, Bengali, Assamese, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada. Approx 11 lakh students have registered for the NEET 2018.

Students can download their NEET 2018 Admit Card from the link provided in the CBSE official website. Admit card is essential to attend the NEET 2018 examination. Apart from the NEET, AIIMS and JIPMER also conduct the entrance exam for Medical. Since last year CBSE has made many changes in the rules and regulation regarding the NEET examination. CBSE has made Aadhar card mandatory to for the registration for the NEET entrance exam. However, this is not applicable in Jammu & Kashmir, Assam and Meghalaya. For NRI’s, passport number is required for the same.

Note: Students have to carry their Aadhar card along with Admit card on the day of examination (Mandatory)

How to download NEET 2018 Admit Card

Students can follow the following steps to download the admit card.

  • Visit the official website of CBSE
  • Click on the candidate login “under online service” section.
  • Enter the registration number and password and click login.
  • A new page will open.
  • Select NEET 2018 Admit Card option
  • A new page will open

  • Enter registration no, date of birth and security pin. Click submit button.
  • NEET 2018 admit card will be displayed and get the print of it.

Note: Students are advised to read the information provided in the admit card carefully. CBSE has released some guidelines regarding the dress code for boys and girls. Last year students were forced to remove their shoes before the exam and only chappals were allowed.

NEET 2018 Admit cards will be available on the website of CBSE. Admit card won’t be sent by mail, post or in the message. Students have to visit the site for the same. If a student doesn’t receive his/her admit card can make inquiry for the same with CBSE.

NEET 2018 entrance test will consist of a single paper in all language. The paper will contain objective type questions ( four options with a single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry, Biology(Botany and Zoology). The paper will be conducted for 3 hr duration with 180 marks question. The answer is to be filled with ball pain provided the exam center. The Question Papers for the test shall be based on a common syllabus notified by the Medical Council of India and implemented in the year 2013.

Apart from making to the merit list candidates have to score maximum 50 percent in the PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology(Botany and Zoology) for general students, 45 percent for the general PH and 40 percent for the SC/ST/OBC.

Students can prefer JEE Mains Physics and Chemistry paper for the revision purpose. Students are advised to follow the previous year question paper and try to solve the question in time. It will help to manage the time in the examination.  Practice at least 3-4 previous question paper in a day. It will help to understand the question pattern and cover the last topic of the syllabus. Focus on the weak topic to the improvement.

Note: Once the results are out, all candidates qualified the NEET 2018 are advice to be in touch with websites of CBSE, MOHFW, Medical Counselling Committee (mcc.nic.in) and participating states/ universities/ institutions till the conclusion of the final round of counseling.
